Plot[]
Part One: Sarah arranges with Alya for Adam to have the day off so they can enjoy some family time. Aggie plans French onion brisket and souffle for the Leightons when Ed suggests her cooking skills aren't up to the task. Sarah is ashamed of herself for gaslighting Harry but feels she has no other choice. Carla calls her with some important news. The Baileys stuff the Metcalfes' photos in drawers at No.4 as they prepare to entertain Patrick and Yvette. Bernie reveals to David, Aggie and the Metcalfes that Paul wasn't a candidate for the gene tests. Adam is troubled when Harry says he doesn't want a new dad. Daniel suggests to Daisy that with "Crystal" gone, Ryan will need her friendship more than ever. Stephen can't find a removal company to move him and Elaine into Redbank Apartments so orders Michael to use the Underworld van. Adam asks Sarah what Harry meant. She tells him it's nothing.
Part Two: Carla stuns Stephen by announcing that she's selling her share of the factory as she wants a fresh start in life and already has a buyer. Sarah asks Harry to keep her kiss with Damon a secret. Stephen receives an e-mail from the life insurance company confirming his first payment. Ryan tells Daisy that Crystal is out of the coma but he's not going to try and get in touch. She's gutted when he says they shouldn't see each other anymore. Max sees a young woman emerging Gav's flat at the precinct. Presuming her to be Bec, he asks her why she's stopped answering Gav's calls. She agrees to talk. Harry is distraught at being asked to lie and tells Adam that he hates Sarah. The Leightons arrive early to a crowded No.4, including Elaine, Sally, and Tim wearing his wife's pink dressing gown. Sarah admits to Adam that Harry saw her kissing Damon. She assures him it was a massive mistake. When he asks if it went further, she confesses to sleeping with him.
Part Three: Adam's furious to realise that Sarah cheated on him with a man he's been defending. He realises why she was so against the late licence and accuses her of only confessing because Harry wouldn't cover for her. She says it meant nothing but Adam retorts that if that was true, she wouldn't have thrown away her marriage. Aggie passes the Metcalfes off as the Baileys' neighbours who've come over to use the hot tub. Sally presents herself as a kindred spirit and accepts the Leightons' invitation to stay when Tim and Elaine leave. Her nose is put out of joint when the couple joke about how small the house is. Adam storms off to kill Damon. Max takes Bec to the cafe, where Bernie agrees to serve up a massive portion on the house if the girl can clear her plate within half an hour. Stephen suggests to Elaine that they remortgage the flat to buy Carla's share of the factory. She isn't keen. Ken, Daniel, Simon, Toyah, Spider, Michael and Dee-Dee are at the late licence launch at the bistro when Adam bursts in to confront Damon, with Sarah following in his wake. As Daniel holds him back, he announces to everyone that Damon is knocking off his wife. Owen asks Stephen if Jenny has a new man. Stephen advises the businessman that Jenny is a bunny boiler and to forget about her. He's stunned to discover that Owen is Carla's buyer. Sarah's mortified at Adam airing their dirty laundry in public.
Part Four: Sarah tells Damon that she loves Adam and is going to get him back. Adam discovers that Dee-Dee knew about the affair and fires her from the solicitors. Ed struggles to find everything in the Metcalfes' kitchen, but the families manage to keep up the pretext until the Leightons leave. Owen tells Stephen that he'll keep him and Michael on, but there's no room for Sarah. Stephen doesn't argue for his niece. Bernie charges Bec full price when she eats everything but a hash brown she overlooked. She leaves Max to pay, making no promises about calling Gav. Yvette invites Aggie, Ed and Sally to a charity auction at the bistro tomorrow. Sarah tells Gail she's told Adam. She asks her husband if they can work through it, like they did when he slept with Carla. Adam avoids rowing in front of Harry but once the boy is asleep, he packs and bag and leaves, telling Sarah she's not the woman he married.
