Plot[]
Part One: Daniel clocks an awkward look between Daisy and Ryan as everyone sets off for court. The Platts await news of Max's early release from the STC. Alya and Yasmeen overhear David telling Lily and are horrified that he could be out today, letting slip to Lily that Alya was nearly stabbed to death because of him. As the barristers deliver their closing speeches, Daisy seems resigned to Justin getting off and reveals to Daniel that she's packed a bag just in case. Yasmeen wraps Hayley's coat and returns it to a grateful Roy. Evelyn rudely dismisses her from his bedside. Aggie's interested in a Japanese tasting dinner at the Chariot Square Hotel and persuades Ed to go with her to take his mind off Paul. Daisy shares with Daniel her plan to find a hotel and call him and Bertie once it's safe.
Part Two: The court awaits the jury's verdict. Daniel asks Daisy about the look she gave Ryan. She tells him she just feels bad about letting Ryan think he's in a relationship with Crystal. Daniel insists the texts have to stop. David arrives at the STC for Max's assessment and finds his son full of self-loathing. Ronnie and Debbie entertain the Baileys at the hotel. Ed and Ronnie reveal to their partners that they've finished the housing development they'd invested in at Tavern Mews. Aggie is recognised by a dissatisfied diner and her husband. Adam, Nick and Damon meet with the council reps to make their case for the late licence. The officials are concerned by Damon's criminal record but Adam vouches for his good character. Max is granted an early release. Gav wishes him well and asks him to find his girlfriend and get her to return his calls. The trial re-convenes for the verdict.
Part Three: Justin is found guilty. He calls out to Daisy that he still loves her as he's led away. Daisy and Ryan are relieved that justice has been served. Aggie and Ed introduce Ronnie and Debbie to Yvette and Patrick Leighton, their old neighbours from Alderley Edge. The bistro is granted the late licence. Sarah masks her disappointment at the news. Carla stops Daisy from going after Karen when she shoots daggers at the group outside the court room. Daisy and Daniel thank Ryan for everything he's done. David discovers Max is refusing to leave his room. Carla tells Daisy about the lack of texts from Crystal and how cut up Ryan is about it. Roy is discharged from hospital. He asks Evelyn if she'll have Freddie while he convalesces. Evelyn agrees, while making out it's a huge imposition. She gives him back his letters without revealing that she's read hers. Max doesn't think he can face everyone back in the street. David assures him they'll forgive him when they see he's changed.
Part Four: Daisy checks on Ryan but he tells her it's best if they keep their distance from now on after their kiss. David brings Max home, where Lily refuses to say hello to him. He tells his sister he's going to show everyone how sorry he is. Sarah hears Damon offering Adam a ticket to a County match and remarks that it's probably stolen. The Leightons join the Baileys at the dinner. Aggie's embarrassed to admit they now live in Weatherfield and reluctantly leaves them her number. They promise to pay the Baileys a visit. Sarah reminds Damon that he's meant to be keeping his distance. Damon makes an excuse to get out of going to the football and suggests that Adam take Harry instead. Daisy's adamant that the Crystal texts are keeping Ryan going, ignoring Daniel's accusation that she's messing with his emotions. Yasmeen tells David to make sure that Max stays away from her and her family. Ryan reads a message on Crystal's website saying she's had an accident and is in a coma. When a text from 'Crystal' comes through apologising for not being in touch, Ryan realises he's been catfished.
