Plot[]
Part One: Jenny and Daniel try to calm Daisy down as she faces a day in court with Ryan not there to back up her version of events. Evelyn sifts through Roy’s letters until she finds the one addressed to her. An amused Tyrone realises she's desperate to read it. Daniel calls on Ryan, begging him to change his mind. When he fails to succeed, Carla asks him to leave. Billy pulls up in the church minibus and tells Paul that he’s borrowed it for their trip to Anglesey. Ed gives him a supposed work bonus cash sum to spend on his break. Evelyn tricks Roy into agreeing to allow her to accompany him to hospital. Daisy, Jenny and Daniel set off for court. Justin's brief, Julia Frazier, tells him that Ryan not appearing helps their case enormously. Roy is taken in for his operation. A nervous Daisy is summoned into the witness box and says she can't face the ordeal.
Part Two: In the event, Daniel takes the stand first. The prosecution barrister, Robin Winchester, reads out some of the text exchanges between Daisy and Justin. Daniel is only allowed to testify to the events of 13th March when he himself witnessed Justin attack his fiancé. Carla sees Daisy's distress and tells her how he she has no regrets against giving evidence against Frank Foster. Ms Frazier makes insinuations that Daisy was leading Justin on, as she does with other men, but Daniel manages to keep his temper against her fictions. Daisy finally takes the stand. Todd and Summer make a special plan to see Billy and Paul off. Daisy gives her evidence against to Mr Winchester. Tyrone finds Evelyn trying to steam open her letter from Roy and tells her to just open it. Ms Frazier counters Daisy's assertions that she was scared by reading out her social media posts saying how great her life is, saying she was lying in the same way she was when she split up Ryan and Alya. She denies giving mixed messages to Justin. Ms Frazier casts doubts on Craig's sudden appearance on the scene on 13th March leaving Daisy feeling helpless. Ryan suddenly appears in the court, ready to give his evidence.
