Plot[]
Part One: Daniel is uneasy about Daisy spending so much time with Ryan now that he's out of hospital. Jenny lays on a spread to celebrate the Coronation. No one believes that Damon was mugged. Nick and Leanne reluctantly let him hold the fort at the bistro while they meet a supplier. Working the Bank Holiday, Beth tries to find out why Stephen is so stressed. Ryan refuses Daisy's offer to cancel a lunch date with Daniel to keep him company. Paul has his day in court. He tells Summer he's going for a job interview when she sees him wearing a suit. Damon closes the bistro when the oven supposedly breaks down. Sarah calls on him to see how he is after the beating and he starts kissing her. After initial resistance, Sarah gives in to temptation and they head for the office.
Part Two: Daniel is surprised to find his phone back on his desk after an English lesson. Evelyn's offended when Jenny insinuates that she's not a Royalist and is only at the Rovers for the free food. Paul pleads guilty. He's gutted when his sentencing is scheduled on the 26th May, the day before Gemma's wedding. Daniel finds a video diary recorded by Max on his phone. Beth listens in on Stephen's conversation with Owen and hears that they're looking to outsource workers. She thinks they're all getting fired and reports back to her colleagues. Adam and Dee-Dee find the bistro locked when they call there to discuss the late licence. Nick and Leanne head back there with them to find out where Damon has disappeared to. Ryan postpones a counselling session as he's not ready to face the outside world. Overcome by a wave of pain, he instinctively calls "Crystal". Daisy can't answer as she's with Daniel. Damon and Sarah have just had sex in the bistro office when Nick, Leanne, Adam and Dee-Dee enter the restaurant.
Part Three: Damon intercepts the group and tells them they have to leave as the oven engineer said it's dangerous to stay. Dee-Dee sees Sarah's handbag on a chair and makes sure Adam doesn't see it. Sarah leaves through the back exit once the coast is clear. Jenny holds a minute's silence at the Rovers to commemorate Queen Elizabeth. Daisy's heart breaks for Ryan as she reads his texts about his fear of going outside. Keen to avoid him reaching the real Crystal, she replies asking him not to post on her socials. He tells her how he wishes she was there. She returns the sentiment. Sarah thinks she and Damon are sailing too close to the wind but he gets round her again and she agrees to meet him at a hotel. Daniel watches Max's video where the lad admits that he deserves to be in prison. He realises Max is finding it hard to cope. David sees him watching the video and asks what's going on.
Part Four: Daniel tells David about Max stealing his phone and shows him the video. David thinks Max isn't getting enough support at the unit and asks Daniel for help. Daniel's concerned about breaching Max's trust. Owen allays the factory staff's concerns about the outsourcing, telling them they need more workers as it's such a big order. He's puzzled when he asks Jenny out on a date only for her to turn him down flat. Ryan makes out to Daisy that he got his appointment date wrong. He accepts her offer to go with him but tells her she doesn't need to keep checking up on him as he has Crystal now. Stephen confirms what Owen told the staff, saying they're training up additional staff in a new unit in Norfolk. Paul sees no option but to tell people about his MND as he'll miss Gemma's wedding if he receives a custodial sentence. Sarah prepares for her date with Damon and tells Adam that she's meeting up with friends. Daniel fears Max is at risk but doesn't know how to help him as he isn't able to speak to him one-on-one. Dee-Dee tells Sarah she knows she was with Damon earlier. She makes it clear that she doesn't like keeping secrets from Adam. A guilty Sarah stands Damon up and tells Adam she loves him.
