Plot[]

Part One: Daisy can’t bring herself to attend Justin’s plea hearing, but Daniel is determined to go, wanting to hear him admit his guilt. Alya visits Ryan in hospital where, even though he can’t, he does want to attend the hearing and look his attacker in the eye. Evelyn refuses Hope’s request to accompany her to her prize-winning salsa class at Little Big Shotz. Hope points out that she needs a dance partner. Elaine thinks it’s about time that she and Stephen announced their engagement, but he puts her off, claiming he's worried about Tim’s reaction. Glenda also tells Evelyn she needs a partner and pushes Roy to agree to take on the role. Jenny has to comfort a nervous Daisy as the time for the hearing nears. Justin enters the court room and isn’t pleased to see Daniel there instead of Daisy in the public gallery. Daniel is stunned when Justin pleads not guilty.

Part Two: Daisy is staggered when Daniel returns and breaks the news to her. Beth does her make-up, telling Kirk she’s going into town and refuses his request to accompany her. Alya tries to cheer up Ryan with a music quiz. He makes jokes about his ruined looks. Daisy visits and breaks the news about Justin. Jackson and Miley call at Underworld to see Faye. Faye is touched when Craig presents them with three tickets for the Weatherfield Giants basketball game and insists they go and enjoy themselves without him. Ryan is almost tearful at the thought of having to relive the whole nightmare in court. A reluctant Roy and Evelyn turn up for the dance class and Glenda realises she has her work cut out. As they head for the tram stop with Miley, Faye and Jackson share a lingering look. A happy Beth meets up with Marco outside the precinct having been sent numerous texts by him to make her change her mind about seeing him. She agrees to go for a drink. With their salsa lesson underway, Roy clutches his chest and admitting that he doesn’t feel well, hurries out. Alya assures a scared Ryan she’ll be right by his side, and he admits that he loves her.

Part Three: A surprised Alya tells Ryan she loves him too, but only as a friend, and she thinks he’s confused as she’s spent too much time with him. Ryan feels humiliated. Stephen is impressed when Michael gets Rufus’s company to honour the Nippersnapper contract for Europe. In a hurry, Roy picks up Freddie from Tyrone. Evelyn says she’s outraged when Glenda says she’ll find a new partner for her, insinuating that she’s matchmaking for her. Alya tells Jenny and Daisy what transpired with Ryan. Daisy has a plan. A happy Faye, Jackson and Miley return from the game and go into Speed Daal, keeping Craig waiting in the bistro. As Beth and Marco flirt on the swings, Marco leans in for a kiss and makes her spill her milkshake over her top. Daisy returns to the hospital with Crystal in tow, hoping she will boost his confidence.. He’s put out to think he’s being viewed as a charity case but nevertheless allows them in. Evelyn chides Roy for abandoning her mid-salsa lesson. Roy reiterates that he felt unwell but refuses to elaborate and Evelyn leaves the cafe in a huff.

Part Four: At the bistro, Craig presents a delighted Miley with a basketball signed by her favourite player. He is put out to see how close Faye and Jackson seem. Ryan and Crystal discuss gigs in Ibiza. She’s taken aback to realise he intends to be out there in the summer. Ryan thanks Daisy for bringing Crystal in and admits that he now has something to focus on. A happy Daisy leaves them alone together. Tyrone assures Evelyn that Roy wouldn’t let her down without a good reason. Alone in the cafe with Freddie, Roy continues to suffer chest pains. Beth changes into a top found in a bag left outside the Gregory Pope Foundation. Marco leans in for another kiss and Beth briefly reciprocates, unaware that a watching Hope has snatched a photo of the moment on her phone. Stephen still has his eye on Jenny. An upbeat Ryan tells his psychologist about Crystal’s visit unaware that she has stormed into the Rovers and is berating Daisy for giving Ryan the impression that she has a job for him when he’s all but fired. She’s returning to Ibiza and it’s up to Daisy to tell him. Ryan is cheered up to decide that it’s time to see his face without the bandages.
