Plot[]
Part One: Amy has a panic attack when she has to go and buy some milk and can't bring herself to leave the house. Dee-Dee helps Paul move more of his things into the flower shop flat, reminding him that the first of his payments on his loan is due soon. With Miley due to visit, Craig tells Faye he wants to get her a present. Faye tells him that she likes basketball. Tracy encourages Aadi to visit Amy. Abi overhears her telling Adam that her daughter has changed her mind and said that she was wrong about Aaron attacking her. Brian tells Audrey and Rita that he’s planning a trip to Naples to stay with his cousin Isabella and wonders if Rita would look after The Kabin for him. Rita refuses and Brian resolves to ask Mary instead. Abi passes on to Aaron what she heard. Relieved, he breaks down in tears.
Part Two: In the solicitor’s office, Dee-Dee tells Damon that his court hearing has been set for next Wednesday. Sarah looks for Adam and mentions in front of Damon that she will be in the Rovers. Dee-Dee sees the chemistry between them. Paul secures a few hours work as a kitchen porter at the bistro. Aadi verbally attacks Aaron on the street for raping Amy. Aaron puts him straight, saying she has changed her story. Having misheard Faye, Craig buys Miley a baseball bat and mitt. He kicks himself over the mistake when he realises the error. Brian tells Mary about his plans to visit Italy and how he needs her help. Mary assumes he’d like her to accompany him and confirms that she’d be delighted. Damon finds Sarah eating alone in the Rovers and reminds her that his sole intention is to get her into bed. Summer and Aadi call to see Amy, but it is clear Summer is not convinced by Amy’s U-turn. Paul gets a phone call from the loan company. As they play a game of catch, Craig can see Miley is not enjoying herself and Faye feels for him. Paul attends his appointment with the neurosurgeon who tells him that, pending a full diagnosis, he might be suffering from onset motor neurone disease and have less than three years to live.
Part Three: Paul struggles to take in the news as the neurosurgeon tells him that she will make an appointment with a specialist for him. As Faye says goodbye to Miley and Jackson at the tram station, Craig finds out that Faye was with them at the precinct yesterday. Amy tells Summer that the university are fine with her taking time off. Summer’s not convinced by her blasé attitude. Paul is distracted at work, looking up websites on MND. Amy’s phone pings with a picture of Aadi and Aaron clearly enjoying themselves at a gig in town. Summer sees her discomfort but doesn’t push it. Brian receives an email from Isabella telling him that she’ll visit him in Weatherfield as her flat is currently under renovation. He and Mary are disappointed. Dee-Dee warns Sarah to be careful of Damon but it's clear that her words have had little effect. Bernie muscles in when she hears that Paul is taking Summer to Speed Daal. He only has £15 in his pocket and struggles to hold in his tears.
Part Four: Brian and Mary bicker over where to take Isabella when she visits. Mary finds out from Rita that Brian was intending to ask her to look after The Kabin while he went to Italy alone. Craig confesses to an exasperated Faye that he feels jealous of Jackson. Summer sees that Paul is tired and distracted at the meal. He is taken with Bernie’s idea that they have a big family holiday when he gets his pay-out. Faye tells Craig that she understands how he feels but he mustn't stress over Jackson being back in her life. In front of Sarah, Damon again apologises to Nick for causing a breach between him and Sam, but Nick isn't interested. Damon isn't convinced by her manner when Sarah tells him that he should be ashamed of himself. Bernie dumps the bill on Paul. Seeing how upset he is, Summer offers to pay. He lies to her that the hospital still doesn’t know what’s wrong with him. Faye walks out of the Rovers when Aaron walks in, saying there is no smoke without fire, but he is cheered up when Abi tells him that Tyrone has agreed he can return to work. Amy has a nightmare about the night Aaron raped her. Paul can’t sleep. He only admits to Billy that he has had a stressful day. Alone, the reality of what lies ahead hits him hard.
