Plot[]
Part One: Aaron has been released without charge. He tells Abi that a girl he met at a club has accused him of rape but he's innocent. She believes him. Tracy is livid to see him going about his business. Michael works on new designs to convince Owen and Angelique to sign on the dotted line. Beth agrees to help Marco organise a school reunion. Ryan still can't bring himself to look at his scars. Rita rows with Brian for blasting out Pavarotti outside The Kabin. He tells Mary he's joined some family tree websites in the hope of tracing his Italian relatives. Glenda worries that Beth is heading for trouble with Marco. Tracy marches over to the garage to confront Aaron when Abi goes on a breakdown call. Summer needles Amy for betraying their friendship. She's shocked when Amy reveals that Aaron raped her.
Part Two: Summer realises that Amy wouldn't lie about such a thing and apologises to her friend. Aaron tells Tracy that he didn't rape Amy. Steve arrives before things get ugly and Tracy leaves in disgust. Daisy tells Alya that Ryan needs her support, even if he doesn't know it himself. Brian suggests to Roy that he introduce an Italian coffee blend at the cafe. Roy doesn't think he'd be able to tell if he did. Beth pretends to Kirk that Arlene Tinker's had a fall in order to meet Marco. Michael submits his designs to the Americans and is taken aback when they reply that Stephen was the one who killed the deal. DS Swain goes over the findings from Amy's phone, bringing up the fact that she was in photos with Aaron the day after the alleged rape with no sign of anything wrong. Michael asks Stephen why he lied about the Americans pulling out of the Nippersnapper deal. Dressed to the nines, Beth meets Marco at the Chariot Square Hotel. Ordering a bottle of wine, he's in no hurry to discuss the reunion. The police call at No.1 and announce that the case is being dropped as there isn't enough evidence.
Part Three: Tracy and Steve are furious that Aaron's been allowed to wriggle out of it. Amy is devastated and wishes she'd never reported it in the first place. Stephen tells Michael he's finalising a better deal with Rufus. Aaron finds out he isn't being charged. Summer still believes Amy and tells Aaron that this just means he's got away with it. Ryan wakes up to find Alya at his bedside. She says he's stronger than he thinks and she's going to help him through it. He doesn't turn her away. Mary tries to expose Brian as a phoney by holding a coffee tasting at the cafe. He seemingly identifies the Italian blend correctly but Mary admits to Roy and Rita that it was Costa Rican and she couldn't bring herself to put him out of his misery. Marco keeps changing the subject away from the reunion as Beth reminds him she's a married woman. Ronnie tells Michael that the deal isn't final until it's signed and sealed. Tracy's bitter that Abi is putting a rapist up at No.13 and refuses to accept a drink from her at the Rovers.
Part Four: Michael negotiates a better deal with Owen and Angelique, convincing them to offer over the odds for Nippersnapper. He excitedly tells Stephen, who's forced to go along with it. Aaron decides to leave the street as there's nothing left for him there now he's lost Summer. Abi talks him out of it. Tracy makes up a flyer accusing the police of decriminalising rape. Steve tells her it's not what Amy would want. Rita makes Mary tell Brian that he's making a fool of himself. He's upset. Amy's furious to hear about Tracy's flyers. Alya pledges to visit Ryan every day until he's discharged. Glenda advises Daisy to let Alya worry about Ryan and to focus on her own recovery. Beth returns from her date with Marco and tells Kirk that she loves him. Stephen proposes to Rufus that they go with the American deal and he collects 10% of the profits. Rufus agrees but forces Stephen to raise his offer to 25%. Stephen's interested to learn that Rufus is renting a house in Mobberley. Beth realises that she and Kirk have something special and texts Marco saying she won't be seeing him again. Tracy secretly prints out a load of flyers at Preston's Petals.
