Plot[]
Part One: Amy and Aaron are relieved that Brian is moving out today and plan to attend a cocktail evening at the bistro with their friends. Telling Aaron he's been an amazing boyfriend for Summer, Amy advises him to sort out her difficulties over Mia. Stephen comes up with plausible reasons why a gullible Elaine should keep their engagement a secret for now. Brian is saddened to be leaving the flat. Daisy tells Jenny she's going to take Maria's advice and apply for a Stalking Protection Order. Aaron apologises to Summer, but she tells him she can't trust him to take up with Mia again. Paul applies for a loan. Hope reveals to Sam that Beth slapped her. Sam’s shocked. Carla berates Stephen for pulling out of the presentation leaving Sarah to carry the can, making it clear he’s to have nothing more to do with the American deal now. Tyrone and Abi tell Aaron that he’s being promoted to mechanic after his probation. Summer confides in Amy how she’s struggling to trust Aaron. Amy tells her she’s needy and insecure. Summer hits back with a jibe about Jacob and an angry Amy tells her to do one.
Part Two: Stephen drowns his anger with Carla at the Rovers, telling Jenny he’s quitting Underworld. She makes him reconsider when she tells him that the Stephen she knows wouldn't give up without a good fight. Aaron finds Amy upset after the row. She’s delighted about his promotion and agrees to go out to celebrate. Summer sulks when Aaron texts her inviting her to the bistro night. Billy counsels her not to give up on Aaron. Paul rushes out to the bank before it closes, making Billy wonder what he’s doing. Beth is relieved when Tyrone tells her that he hopes there’s no harm done to their friendship because of Hope’s false accusation. Daisy is granted a hearing for an order against Justin next week and Adam agrees to represent her. Paul gives Chesney a wad of cash, telling him about the loan, and certain that his compensation will come through. Asha, Nina and Aadi gather in the flat prior to the bistro where they celebrate both Aaron’s promotion and the news that Asha has had an offer to study being a paramedic at Edge Hill University. Aaron drenches himself when he opens the prosecco and he and Amy remain behind for him to get changed. Stephen heads to the precinct intent on buying more drugs from Kyle and Mitchell, the two lads he saw the previous day. However, when they pocket his money and laugh in his face, Stephen sees red. As Aaron gets changed, the sexual chemistry between him and Amy is evident, and they find themselves kissing.
Part Three: As Asha rings her, Amy pulls away, wracked with guilt. Enraged at being double crossed, Stephen beats Kyle and Mitchell up. Hope walks out of the cafe when Beth walks in. Sarah meets Angelique Simmons and Owen Longford to discuss the American distribution of Nippersnapper products. Summer turns up at the bistro with a present for Aaron, but with his eyes only on Amy he is off with her. Billy finds out that Paul has money and wonders where it has come from. As Aaron and Summer snipe at each other, ruining everyone’s evening, Amy announces she’s going home. Uninvited, Stephen joins in Sarah’s business meeting and rejects Angelique and Owen's offer, asking for a higher figure. After Summer and Aaron argue, they go back to their respective homes as well. Carla finds it hard to be pleased when Stephen reports back with Sarah on the better offer he’s negotiated. Unable to contact Jacob’s phone, Amy is vulnerable as Aaron returns. The two start to knock back the wine.
Part Four: Jenny and Daisy are put out when Christina returns. Daisy especially is hurt when Christina plays down her stalking issues. Having heard from Chesney about the loan, Billy asks Paul about it and is assured that he only got the money to help his family out but fully expects either the compensation or Peter’s money as a backup. Daisy bursts into tears when she receives another series of texts from Justin, telling her how hurt he is about the court summons. She wonders how on earth he got hold of her new number. Amy and Aaron play drinking games, polishing off every drop of alcohol in the flat. Amy stumbles into the bedroom to find more but declaring herself to be too drunk and feeling sick she falls into bed. Climbing into bed next to her and trying to kiss her, Amy’s completely oblivious as Aaron starts to undress her.
