Plot[]
Part One: Peter looks up the watch model online and finds out it's worth £15,000. Carla decides to enjoy her week off work. The catering company sends Daisy seven wedding cake samples for her approval. She refuses to report Justin's threat to the police as she knows nothing will be done about it. Elaine views the penthouse at Redbank Apartments. Maria tells Gary that there wasn't enough evidence to charge Len Cameron with funding terrorism, but he's admitted to the trolling and been barred from coming near her. Daryan finds out through a refugee charity that his brother is in Nottingham. Stephen finds a clause in the articles of association allowing shareholders to take control of the business. He gathers them and encourages them to hold a vote of no confidence in Carla, arguing that she isn't fit to take the reins yet. Paul returns to work at the yard after his accident. Stephen proposes to the factory staff that he and Sarah take charge as caretakers. They're reluctant to betray Carla but agree to hold a secret ballot.
Part Two: Paul nearly goes through his left hand with the bandsaw. Ed cuts the power just in time and sends him home. The shareholders unanimously support Carla. Stephen is quietly furious that his plan has failed. Daisy's appalled when the samples are delivered by Justin. He suggests they clear the air but she sends him packing. Carla gatecrashes Stephen's meeting with Dick Havisham and takes charge, belittling Stephen as she does so. Daniel, Ken, Jenny and Gemma assemble at No.1 for the cake-tasting. Gemma volunteers to taste the cakes first in case Justin poisoned them. Maria and Gary offer Daryan money to go to Nottingham and find his brother. He refuses it on principle but accepts following a pep talk from Evelyn. Carla thanks Faye for tipping her off about the vote. Faye confides in Sally that the Hodges have moved back to the UK and Jackson has offered to let her see Miley. Gemma eats too much and makes herself ill. Carla gives Stephen a rollicking for trying to oust her from the business. He maintains that it was to protect her. She calls him a snake and fires him.
Part Three: Stephen leaves the factory. Paul admits to Billy that he hasn't felt right since the accident. He's desperate to get back to work in order to make good on his promise to Gemma. Elaine tells Stephen that the penthouse is outside her budget. She's thrilled when he agrees to her suggestion of buying it together as friends. Daisy tells Daniel she doesn't feel safe anymore. He contacts Justin's delivery firm to report his stalking. Sally's surprised that Faye doesn't want to see Miley. Faye explains that she came to terms with never being a mother due to her menopause and doesn't want to run the risk of re-opening old wounds. Paul informs Gemma that he can't help her with her gas bill after all. Gemma and Billy encourage him to sue Carla for negligence. Maria, Gary, Evelyn and Nina see Daryan off. Stephen makes a surreptitious phone call, saying he needs an urgent meeting.
Part Four: Peter thinks Carla needs a break. He reveals he has a £15,000 nest egg and suggests they go on holiday. Ed regretfully tells Paul he can't take him back on at the yard without the medical all-clear. The courier company refuses to take action against Justin without proof. Faye swears Sally to secrecy about Jackson's message. Daryan says a final goodbye to Alya before leaving the street. Paul doesn't want to sue Carla as she's going through a difficult time but agrees when Dee-Dee tells him he could get tens of thousands. Daniel admits to Ken that he's worried about Justin posing a risk to Bertie. Carla is astounded when Rufus Donahue says he won't work with anyone but Stephen. She realises they're working together but begrudgingly offers Stephen his old job back. Knowing he has her over a barrel, Stephen secures a promotion to her number two before agreeing.
