Plot[]

Part One: Over breakfast a downcast David admits to Gail that Shona’s left him, though not the full reason why. She orders him to sort it out for Lily's sake. Having seemingly obtained a new phone, Justin has left another message for Daisy. Daniel and Steve both offer to stay off work to protect her, but she insists that she's fine. Maria admits to Toyah that all the local businesses have pulled out of sponsoring the refugee centre, put off by Alya’s stabbing, and to her surprise Len Cameron is the only one offering to find the funds. Max is moved to a different unit in the secure training centre, meaning he has to join Daniel’s classes. Daniel is concerned to see his cuts and bruises. Having spent the night with Alya, Ryan leaves in the morning. Alya denies to Yasmeen that they are back together. Billy and Paul break the news to Todd that they’re back together. He's genuinely pleased for them and Billy thanks him for taking the blame for the Mike incident. Maria assures Shona that David’s drunken pass meant nothing and advises her not to make the matter bigger than it is. Daniel asks a reluctant Alya if she’d consider going to visit Max. The request upsets her and she accepts Ryan’s comforting support.

Part Two: Daisy is on edge when Gareth, the wedding caterer arrives to see her. Ryan admits to Alya that he would like to be more than friends with her but accepts she's not in the same place as him. He advises her that it would do her good if she visited Max and looked him in the eye. Having spent the night at Roy’s flat, Shona returns to No.8, telling a relieved David that he's sleeping on the sofa. Daisy is tired and distracted throughout her discussions with Gareth and a concerned Jenny has to do all the talking. Daniel tells David about Max's move and promises to keep an eye on him. Spider is concerned about needing to bring a closure to the Griff business with the final peace of the jigsaw - his sponsor. He receives a phone call and hurries out. Daisy switches her phone back on, only to be bombarded with a string of texts from Justin. Alya visits Max. At the same time, Spider visits Griff in prison who thinks he agreed to get his sentence reduced if he reveals where his funding came from.

Part Three: Griff admits Len Cameron was their sponsor and he can prove it with a hidden burner phone. Alya shows Max no forgiveness when she pushes him to explain himself, while at the same time Spider shows Max some empathy when he berates Griff for taking advantage of a lost teenager. He reveals they’ve already found the burner phone and says there’s no deal, now that he knows Cameron's identity. Max tries to open up to Alya, but she refuses to accept grooming as an excuse for his actions. She walks out on him. With Daisy’s permission, Daniel scrolls through Justin’s texts. Daniel asserts that they need to go to the police when he reads the latest one which he infers is a death threat. Cameron agrees to fund the centre in its entirety, puzzling Maria. In the Rovers, Billy chats to Dee-Dee and neither of them notices Paul struggling to pick up his darts. He throws one, which narrowly misses a complaining Evelyn. Max calls David and asks if he, Shona and Lily will visit him tomorrow. Shona tells David she’s not in the mood to play happy families.

Part Four: Even in front of Lily, Shona refuses to go and see Max, thinking David is trying to use him to get back into her good books. Daisy shows PC Scott the recent texts from Justin, but he seems to show little interest in her complaint. Todd considers internet dating. Returning from the centre on edge, Alya seeks out Ryan, needing his company for a drink later. Daisy is disappointed when PC Scott says he can’t take any further action, bar filling out a report. Alya decides to attend Blake’s sentencing and read out a victim statement. A warrant is prepared for Cameron. Talking about his taking up a new case, Toyah tells Spider that she finds it hard not knowing if he’s in danger. Alya reads out her emotionally charged statement to Yasmeen. Dee-Dee fails to notice Paul rubbing his hand as he goes to bed. David thanks Alya for seeing Max but she tells him she did it for herself and not him. Daisy returns home and is horrified to see that PC Scott has liked all her holiday snaps. She thinks she’s got herself another stalker.
