Plot[]

Part One: After her operation the previous night, Alya wakes up to Yasmeen and Maria keeping a vigil over her bed. Gail catches Max trying to sneak out of the house in the early hours. He tells her and David he has to go as Blake made out that he inspired him to carry out the attack. Tyrone and Fiz are loved up, having returned from their night of passion. Hope wants £100 for luxuries for Cilla the chinchilla. Dev lavishes praise on a new barbeque sauce that Chesney has created. He tells his boss that he's used some of his and Gemma's wedding money to fund his new ChesBurger enterprise. Gemma explains to Michael that she can no longer look after Glory as she’d be breaking the law. He suggests they continue on an informal basis and the authorities need never know. Carla fires Stephen for lying to Dick Havisham and making out he’s a senior consultant. Christina calls at No.1 to say goodbye but Daisy makes it clear she wants nothing to do with her and heads out. A tearful Christina hands Daniel a necklace that belonged to her mother and tells him she’d like Daisy to wear it on her wedding day. Daniel has an idea. Stephen feeds Carla a pack of lies, telling her how Gabrielle ripped him off and when he bumped into Dick, he was simply trying to save face. With Sally and Fiz off work, Sean and Beth report that they have no chance of completing an important order. Stephen offers to assist. David calls Adam and Sarah to No.8 and orders Max to show them his videos. They’re shocked at the number of them and Adam warns him that he could be charged with encouraging terrorism which carries a 10-year sentence.

Part Two: Kirk tells Tyrone and Fiz that he and Beth are going on holiday and needs someone to look after Peanut. Fiz suggests Hope can do it in return for payment. Dee-Dee overhears Sarah asking Adam to help find a solicitor for Max. Daniel tells Daisy he’s booked a table at the bistro that night to cheer her up. Stu gives Daryan a present of football boots as a present for helping Alya. Kirk offers Hope £5 to look after Peanut for the night. Hope tells him £10 and he’s got a deal. Peanut growls at Cilla. Stu brings Daryan to visit a weepy Alya. Daisy arrives at the bistro dressed to the nines but is furious to discover that Daniel’s duped her into having dinner with her mum. Christina begs for a chance to explain. Hope’s horrified to find the door to Cilla’s cage open. As the girls search the room, Hope lets out a scream, having found Cilla dead on the carpet. David and Gail watch Max’s videos in horror. They’re interrupted by a knock at the door. DS Swain enters and tells Max that she’s arresting him on suspicion of incitement to murder.

Part Three: Harriet Arnold, Max's brief, questions him before the police interview commences. Chesney tells Gemma about his use of the wedding fund for his franchise. She's livid and tells him not to return home. Hope blames Peanut for Cilla's death. Stephen rallies the troops and urges them not to give up until they’ve completed the order. Carla’s begrudgingly impressed by his team spirit. Alya is brought home. Yasmeen's cold with Sarah when she asks after her granddaughter. Despite herself, Daisy is impressed with her grandmother's necklace. Christina admits she was an awful mother because she didn't want the role, but Daisy has had a good life despite her, and she does love her. Stephen takes the staff for drinks for completing the order. Jenny's hurt when he asks Elaine to join them. Carla agrees that he can keep his job. Max is formally questioned by DS Swain who says Blake has directly said his videos influenced his actions. David listens as Max denies responsibility for another person's actions and tells Swain how worthless and alone he felt until Griff came along.

Part Four: Dee-Dee loses her temper as Adam rings round colleagues, trying to get help for Max, and storms out of the office after arguing with him. Daniel reveals that he’s looking for a new childminder. Michael recommends Gemma. Alya is appalled when she finds out from Yasmeen that they've closed Speed Daal until things blow over and orders her to return to work. Gemma explains that she’s not a qualified childminder but is happy to help. Beth disagrees that Peanut is responsible for Cilla's death. Daniel finds out that Daisy and Christina's night was moderately successful, and she's now invited to the wedding. Daisy receives yet another notification from her persistent online admirer. She deletes it and blocks them. Cilla is buried in Victoria Gardens with a poem penned by Hope. Behind everyone's backs, she vows revenge. Max is formally charged with incitement to attempted murder.
