Plot[]
Part One: Stephen calls early at the Rovers and finds out that Teddy is on the waiting list for the first flight he can get to Canada. Esther calls at the flat to say that she has separated from Mike who has been charged with kidnap while the investigation against Summer has been dropped. However, Todd is still being held for assault. Summer begs Esther's help in getting Mike to drop that matter too. Michael drops Glory off at No.5. Gemma is astonished to receive the going rate of £60 from him for childminding. Fiz is tired at work after being kept up all night by the noise from Cilla the chinchilla. Elaine is annoyed with Stephen when she brings in some coffees for her but he gives her the brush-off. Teddy gets a flight. Stephen offers to take him for a coffee to say goodbye. Elaine confides in Tim how she lent Stephen £12,000 and since then he’s cooled towards her. Jenny’s ears prick up whilst Tim’s horrified. Daisy receives more flowers from "Justin". In the cafe, Stephen convinces Teddy he's on a fool's errand in trying to make contact with Leo again. He returns to work while Teddy chats to Billy who mentions a tracing app. It triggers a sudden memory in Teddy's head.
Part Two: Having been let go by the police, Todd is confronted by a furious George who was let down at a funeral that morning. Paul is horrified when he overhears George sacking Todd. Stephen agrees to let Sarah use the factory in the evening to prepare for a client presentation. He lets the staff go home early. Todd drowns his sorrows in the Rovers. Daisy puts a post on social media warning other women about DJ Teativo. Summer berates how stupid she has been. Paul confesses to George that he was the one who assaulted Mike. A loved-up Fiz and Tyrone go home as they have the house to themselves. Gemma investigates child-minding fees. An angry DJ Teativo calls at the Rovers and demands Daisy take down her damaging post, saying he never sent the flowers and he's not called Justin. Teddy confronts Stephen saying he now remembers everything and he thinks he's done something to his son.
Part Three: Teddy reminds Stephen that Leo's last texts were sent from Weatherfield and not from Canada. Stephen takes him into the factory, saying he can explain everything. The DJ shows Daisy proof that he's called Keith Ramsbottom and not Justin, just as Daniel walks in and overhears everything. Fiz and Tyrone find that Hope has neglected to clean out Cilla and the house stinks. George hears from Todd that he took the rap for Paul as he owed him for destroying his relationship with Billy. Todd panics when he hears that Paul is on the way to the police station. Audrey looks for Stephen, wanting her car back to visit Bev Unwin in the Peak District. Teddy accuses Stephen of doing everything he can to stop him going to Canada because in truth he killed Leo in a bid to have Jenny for himself. When Teddy vows to report him to the police, Stephen whacks him over the head with a hole punch. Michael enters the premises and Stephen has to prevent him entering the office. Todd persuades Paul not to go to the police, just as Summer tells them that Mike has dropped the complaint. Stephen is impatient as Michael goes through his business strategy. He manages to get rid of him and examines Teddy, crying with rage as he realises he is dead.
Part Four: Daniel assures Daisy he is not angry as she is a natural flirt. She swears she knows no one called Justin. Gemma decides she is going to offer BSL-friendly childminding services and puts out an online advert. Having cleaned out Cilla's cage, Fiz and Tyrone are in no mood for love-making. Summer announces to her three happy dads that she is going to reapply for university. Stephen has managed to get Teddy's body in the roofbox of Audrey's car. An oblivious Kevin, Abi and Tim help him attach it to the roof of the vehicle, having been told it's full of sewing machines. Tim warns Stephen not to mess his mum around. Jenny tells Stephen that his mother needs her car and thinks that he's stealing the sewing machines to pay off his debts. She's assured that's not the case. Gemma gets five responses to her advert. George gives Todd his job back. A panicking Stephen finds that Audrey has taken the car.
