Plot[]
Part One: Jenny gives the council the use of the Rovers' back yard for Santa's grotto while the community centre is out of use. Daisy helps out in order to take her mind off things. The man from yesterday approaches Jacob again and asks him to meet him for a drink at the Chariot Square Hotel. Jacob coldly turns him down. Amy is shocked to discover he's Jacob's dad, Damon. In the factory, Jacob tells Amy that his dad hasn't bothered with him since he was sixteen. She urges him to hear Damon out, saying he'll regret it if he doesn't. Daniel refuses to contact Daisy, arguing he's too weak to be of any support. Adam reads an article of Daniel's about finding love after loss and forms a plan. Jacob meets Damon under sufferance. He tells him what a lousy time he's had over the last few years, including being forced to deal drugs and being beaten up by Harvey. Damon is incensed as Harvey - his brother - was meant to be looking after Jacob.
Part Two: Damon tells Jacob that he's doing well for himself and wants to make things right between them. He suggests lunch at the bistro with him and Amy. After his son leaves, Damon calls someone and asks for a favour. Spider quizzes Griff about the gang's financial backers. Griff tells him he's meeting a donor later. Billy reports Summer as a missing person. He's told that if they find her they won't be able to disclose her location without her permission as she's over eighteen. Max tells David and Shona about the camping trip. They forbid him from going on holiday with a bunch of middle-aged racists. Mary, Glenda and Sean try to find out what George has got Eileen for Christmas to make up for the funeral plan debacle last year. Adam asks Daisy to read Daniel's article. At the Christmas market, Griff meets with his benefactor: Councillor Cameron. At Highfield Prison, a prisoner armed with a cosh bribes a prison officer to let him into Harvey's cell.
Part Three: Damon's mate rings him to say the job's been done. Len agrees to give Griff more money. Daisy is moved by Daniel's article. The barmaid is roped into filling in for Santa's elf. Jacob and Amy meet Damon and hear all about his villa in Ibiza. Jacob isn't impressed, as it only reminds him of the life he could have had. Leanne tells Nick that Harvey has been attacked in prison. Max assures Griff that he fully intends to go camping, defying his parents. George reveals that he's bought a new leather sofa for No.11 to be delivered on Christmas Eve. Leanne and Nick hope that Harvey will be moved to another prison for his own safety and he'll be out of their lives forever. Jacob accuses Damon of ordering the attack on Harvey because of what he did to him but Damon says he was just going to visit Harvey and put him in his place. Nick is taken aback when Damon calls him by name and asks to discuss business.
Part Four: Aaron admits to Billy that the £10,000 was to put his dad through rehab. Summer texts Aaron, Billy and Paul to say she's okay and needs space. Daisy tells Daniel that his article was beatifully written but it doesn't change anything; she needs someone strong and he doesn't have it in him. Eileen waits to see what George has got her before spending the same amount on his present. Daniel apologises to Daisy for his moment of weakness and promises to be by her side good or bad. They're reconciled. Daniel waits for the right moment to present Daisy with a ring. Damon tells Nick that he's Harvey's younger brother and reveals that he loaned Harvey the money he used to invest in the bistro. Nick is unnerved when Damon offers to help out where he can.
