Plot[]
Part One: Hope and Ruby have seen the viral video. Hope is pleased that Tyrone stuck up for her. The restorative justice charity sends a facilitator to meet with Nick and Sam. Adam finds a libel barrister for Fiz and Tyrone. They hope to be granted a last-minute injunction on the basis that the book suggests Fiz was complicit in John's crimes. Bernie receives a date for her plea hearing. Remembering that Fern was a member of a country club in Handforth, she goes there in search of her doppleganger. Hope tells Tyrone that the kids at school are picking on her because of the book. He repeats his promise to stop the book being published. Yasmeen comes around on Max as he starts taking his job more seriously. Adam warns Fiz and Tyrone that if they sue for libel their legal costs will come to nearly £100,000, and they'll have to pay the other side's costs as well if they lose.
Part Two: Tyrone and Fiz contemplate selling No.9 to pay the legal fees. Bernie poses as Fern at the country club but the receptionist refuses to let her check her home address as she doesn't have identification. Lauren waits at Speed Daal for Max to take her out on a date. When Daryan chats with her, she becomes uncomfortable and leaves saying she doesn't feel well. Fiz and Tyrone tell Adam they're not going ahead with the injunction as they can't afford to lose. Summer suffers with morning sickness. Jacob helps her at the factory when she refuses to tell Carla she's pregnant. Bernie waits until the receptionist has left before accessing her computer. She's caught doing so by another club member, who's surprised when she tells him she's called Fern Lindon; he's Howard, Fern's ex-husband. Lauren tells Max that Daryan was creeping on her. Fiz and Tyrone break the news to Hope that they couldn't stop the book being published. Hope tells Tyrone she hates him for breaking his promise.
Part Three: Bernie drops the act and admits the truth to Howard. He believes her and reveals that Fern dumped him three weeks ago, taking the house and cleaning out his mother's bank account. Her offer to help him track Fern down is rebuffed as he'd rather forget about her. Sam tells the facilitator his reasons for wanting to visit Harvey. She agrees to take it foward. Max demands that Daryan apologise to Lauren. Daryan says he was just being friendly and Alya, who heard everything he said to the girl, backs him up. Hope takes up residence at No.5 and refuses to come home. Fiz tries to get to the bottom of Tyrone's anger issues. He explains that he's always been the nice guy and people have always walked all over him. Daryan tells Lauren he's sorry for any misunderstanding. Nick and Leanne are annoyed that the facilitator obliged Sam as they were counting on her to say no, and now they have to go along with it. Tracy keeps finding excuses to call on Amy, embarrassing her daughter. The police arrest Tyrone on suspicion of assault.
Part Four: Bernie's thrilled when Howard appears at the Rovers. Chesney tells Hope there isn't room for her at No.5. Fiz makes her daughter see that Tyrone is devoted to her and she agrees to go back home. Daryan tries to clear the air with Max and Lauren. Lauren maintains that he behaved inappropriately and says Alya only defended him as their lot stick together. Aaron promises to support Summer whatever she decides. Tyrone is released with a caution. Bernie and Howard agree to team up. He offers to talk to the police. Nick and Leanne hope that Harvey turns down Sam's visitation request. Max suspects Lauren was being racist towards Daryan. She denies it and manipulates Max by kissing him and leading him upstairs. Tyrone opens up to Fiz about how he still feels weak because of what Kirsty did to him. She tells him he's the bravest man she knows.
