Plot[]
Part One: Brian makes the suggestion to Roy that they install bee hives at the allotment. Laurence has bought tickets for a cinema showing of The Watcher in the Woods for himself, Dylan and Sean. Dylan wants to go in fancy dress. Max sets off for the PRU and runs into Blake and Chris, intent on beating him up again. The Gazette starts serialising the book on John Stape by Rory McDowd, the same journalist with whom Phill Whittaker discussed a collaboration. Fiz is surprised to see the level of accurate detail contained within it. Griff invites Spider to a fancy dress party with all of his friends at his flat. He's pleased to have infiltrated further into the gang. Tyrone offers to buy all of the Gazette 's print editions from The Kabin but Adam points out that there are still on-line editions. Arnie Higgins returns to start working on No.1's roof, having suffered a series of mini-strokes. With Steve visiting Andy in Spain, Tracy begins to rip into him for his lengthy absence and demands he begins work immediately. Ed and Aggie are also keen for him to finish quickly. Tyrone wonders who they know who could have been gossiping to Rory. Griff overhears Max and David arguing when Max bunks off the PRU with a busted lip. Aaron has found more alcohol in his dad's house. Summer tells him to look after him and not to worry about going to the clinic with her. Peter is disturbed to see Griff talking to Max in Victoria Gardens about his school problems. They see a laughing Blake and Chris entering the Co-op and Griff determines that they need teaching a lesson.
Part Two: Spider puts off going out with Toyah to attend Griff's party. Griff attacks Chris, warning him and Blake to keep away from Max. Summer texts Todd asking him to accompany her. Griff gives Max his number in case he has trouble from his bullies again and invites him to his party. Tracy complains that the toilet bowl is cracked, and it must have been Arnie or his mate. Billy is annoyed that Aaron isn't accompanying Summer to the clinic. Tyrone visits Phill, who denies giving help to Rory but he is able to provide Rory's number. Tyrone and Fiz decide to contact him to tell him of the damage he's inflicting on Hope. Todd takes a picture of Sean, Dylan and Laurence using Laurence's phone before they set out. Whilst he's using it, a memory pop-up occurs showing Laurence with a bride in a wedding photo. Spider arrives at the party. He is disturbed to see Max in attendance.
Part Three: The party falls quiet to enable Max to take a call from David, lying about his whereabouts. Todd and Summer set off for the clinic. He reminds her she can change her mind about what she'd doing at any time. Max tells a Griff and his friends a bowdlerised version of the events involving Nicky Wheatley that got him kicked out of Weatherfield High. Peter warns David about Max socialising with Griff. Laughing that everything's a conspiracy to him nowadays, David ignores what Peter has to say. Tracy confronts Arnie about the broken toilet. She's pleased when he says he'll have it sorted by tonight. Rory refuses to reveal his sources. Tyrone makes a list of people who knew the details within the story. Fiz mentions how angry Evelyn will be when she finds out that she was quoted as being 92-years old. Tyrone remembers giving that age to Hope as a joke and demands she tells him who she's been talking to. Summer goes in for her termination. Spider tries to stop Max drinking at the party. Griff watches carefully from across the room and intervenes when he hears Spider saying it's not a good idea for him to be there, wanting to know what he means.
Part Four: Griff accepts Spider's reasoning that it's a school night and they don't want him getting in trouble at the PRU. Spider offers to see the lad home. Hope tells her parents that "Mad Dog" contacted her through computer game chats. Tyrone thinks she's been groomed. Summer returns home, having been given a series of termination tablets to take. Tracy is livid to see that Arnie's solution is to install a portaloo outside No.1. Ed and Aggie aren't too pleased either. Sean, Dylan and Laurence return from the cinema. After Laurence has gone, Todd tells Sean about the photo and suggests that the dentist is married. Fiz and Tyrone consult Adam about the serialisations and book publication. Spider receives a call from his handler and tells him matters are getting too close to home. Max returns home in a good mood. David warns him to watch himself around Griff. Max is pleased to see a photo that Griff has sent him of him and his new friends.
