Plot[]

Part One: Audrey's exasperated with the constant alerts on her phone and hands the set to Stephen when he offers to turn them off. Daniel takes Bertie to Sinead's grave on the third anniversary of her death. While he's out of the room, Bertie calls Daisy "Mummy". She's taken aback. Tyrone joins a taekwondo class. Audrey takes Sam out for the day. Eileen's friendly demeanour starts to scare George and Sean. Stephen can't believe his luck at getting hold of Audrey's phone and arranges for the mortgage broker to call, coercing Gabrielle into posing as Audrey. Gail arranges a family lunch at the bistro. Gabrielle takes the call from the broker and authorises the equity release scheme on Grasmere Drive.

Part Two: Griff meets up with Toyah, Spider and Peter and invites them to an exclusive gig. The mortgage company releases the funds to Stephen's account. He pays Gabrielle off and keeps the rest, confident that no one will find out what he's done until Audrey passes away. Daisy is wracked with guilt when Daniel talks about how he wants Bertie to know who his mum is. Stephen announces he's leaving Weatherfield as Audrey doesn't need him anymore. Eileen explains to George that when she came round after her accident, she caught a glimpse of heaven and ever since, she's felt calm and peaceful. She mentions a sweet smell, a bright light, and ethereal music. Toyah takes off her wedding ring, telling Spider that she'll always love Imran but she has to move on. They agree to swerve Griff's gig and spend some time together instead. Bertie calls Daisy Mummy again, this time in front of Daniel and Beth. Sean jokingly suggests to Fiz that Tyrone could be meeting the next Alina at taekwondo. Audrey stuns her family by announcing that she's taking Sam on a Norwegian cruise to see the Northern Lights. She explains that she's going to do an equity release on Grasmere Drive and start living the dream. Stephen is horrified.

Part Three: Knowing he'll be found out if Audrey goes ahead with her plan, Stephen does his best to dissuade her. David grumbles about the preferential treatment she's giving to Sam. Daniel doesn't care what Bertie calls Daisy but Beth tells her she'll never be Bertie's mum. Daisy gets cold feet about moving in with Daniel, feeling a motherly role is being thrust upon her. The Platts aren't able to change Audrey's mind. George realises that Eileen's near-death experience was just him flashing his phone light in her face, a vanilla slice and Gail's Thai relaxation music. He decides not to tell her as it'll spoil her good mood. Fiz bombards Tyrone with questions about his class. He's evasive. Gabrielle refuses to help Stephen any further.

Part Four: In desperation, Stephen offers to pay for the cruise so that Audrey doesn't need to release equity from Grasmere Drive. Fiz reminds Tyrone what happened the last time he took a fitness class. He admits he was embarrassed to talk about it as Joseph knocked him over and assures her he'd never betray her again. Spider speaks to his boss who tells him it's imperative he attends the gig with Griff. Audrey graciously accepts Stephen's offer. Toyah's put out when Spider tells her he's going to the gig after all and insists that she gives it a miss. Jenny encourages Daisy not to be scared off by Bertie, reminding her that their relationship began the same way and they're closer than ever now. Beth apologises to Daniel and Daisy for flying off the handle. Daisy tells Daniel she's totally committed and can't wait for them to live together. Stephen tells the Platts he's staying in Weatherfield after all.
