Plot[]

Part One: It's the day of Kelly and Aadi's engagement party. The youngsters secretly pack for their getaway and Kelly books two one-way tickets to Bangkok. Stephen pretends to have stayed the night at a posh hotel. Kelly asks Maria if she would forgive Gary if he did something terrible. Maria tells her that she would as she knows Gary is a good bloke deep down. The party gets underway at the bistro. Lovestuck Aadi gives a speech about how brilliant and beautiful his bride-to-be is. Nina buys Roy a sign for Weatherfield Railway Station for his birthday after she and Bernie fail to locate Hayley's things. Kieron calls Kelly to say he's on his way to do the job.

Part Two: Leo's team look over No.8 and declare it safe. Jenny is rattled by the talk of sinkholes, reminded of Johnny's death. Evelyn gives Roy a model train as a birthday present by way of apology for her comments yesterday. He recognises it as his own and, realising that Evelyn must have purchased it from the same charity shop that has Hayley's things, they set off there to retrieve them. Stephen is suprised when Audrey comes home early from her spa day after rowing with Gail. Leo is intrigued to overhear as she tells Stephen that she also interrupted an estate agent valuing Grasmere Drive who said he was there on behalf of his behalf. At the party, a drunken Dev grabs the mic to tell everyone how much he loves his son. When he starts slagging Kelly off, Gary takes over and says that Kelly coming into his life has been one of the best things ever to happen to him. Kelly takes Gary aside and, with hatred in her eyes, tells him she knows he murdered her dad. She leads Gary out of the bistro to Brewery Lane, where Kieron and his lackey Al knock him out and bundle him into a van.

Part Three: Kelly wrestles with her conscience and rejects Nina's assertion that she's a good person. Kieron and Al lead Gary through Beacon Woods to the very place where he killed Rick and pointing a gun at him, order him to dig his own grave. Stephen tells Audrey that he booked and cancelled a valuation months ago and suggests it was an admin error. Roy doesn't find the anorak at the charity shop. The volunteer, Joy, promises to keep a look out for it. Maria, Liam and Jake present Kelly with a framed picture of the family at Liam's birthday party. Kelly struggles to contain her guilt at having taken the boys' dad away from them. Stephen cancels the estate agent, telling them they've upset his mother who suffers from dementia. Kelly gets cold feet and calls Kieron, telling him to let Gary go and she'll still pay him. Kieron decides to kill Gary anyway, as he's sure to tell the police what happened. Leaving Al with Gary, he goes off to take care of Kelly.

Part Four: Aadi asks Asha to be his best person when he gets married. She happily accepts. Kelly and Aadi sneak off from the party to stay the night at the Infinity Hotel. Al reveals to Gary that Kieron plans to kill Kelly to keep her quiet. Enraged, Gary batters him with the shovel and takes the gun. After leaving a voicemail for Kelly warning her about Kieron, he calls Maria and finds out that Kelly isn't at the bistro. He rushes to the hotel to save her. David is annoyed that Audrey thinks he wants to sell her house. As accusations fly around, Leo tells the Platts that Stephen lied about where he spent the night last night. Kelly sees the missed calls from Gary but doesn't listen to the voicemail. She foolishly tells Kieron her location when he calls her saying they need a new plan. Stephen tells the Platts that he slept in his car as he got drunk and couldn't find a taxi. He shuts Leo up by revealing to all about his kiss with Jenny. Leo is stunned. Evelyn passes by the charity shop after closing time and sees Joy wearing what looks like Hayley's anorak. Kelly goes downstairs to meet Kieron, just missing Gary in the lobby. Gary tells the receptionist to call the police. Leo thumps Stephen in front of everyone. Kieron and a heavy grab Kelly off the street and throw her in the van.
