Plot[]
Part One: Toyah assures Spider that things are good between them though he again asks her to stay away in the forthcoming protest. Sam catches Hope texting "Mad Dog" again. He has to do a presentation about chess at school but he's worried about his classmates' reaction. Daisy returns from a hen weekend and is delighted to hear that Jenny and Leo are engaged. Sarah tells Stephen that she’s arranged a meeting with a couple of potential investors. Leanne tells Toyah she's coming to the protest to keep an eye on her. Jenny rounds up the menfolk to talk about the charity match between the Rovers and the Flying Horse. James is worried about Tyler Dixon, a talented youth rival at County. Jenny confesses to Daisy that she snogged Stephen. She advises her stepmother to admit nothing to her fiancé and not rock the boat. Asha, Nina and Toyah warn Carla about the protest and urge her to take a closer look at Nadeem’s business practices. The protesters gather outside Underworld as an angry Nadeem arrives.
Part Two: An apologising Carla confirms to Nadeem that the deal is off. He rings the police and reports a disturbance. Jenny is feeling the pressure as she meets with the pub’s football team, knowing the Flying Horse are looking for revenge. Spider grows nervous that the protest might get out of control. Craig and other officers arrive and tells the protesters to disperse. They refuse. As Jenny starts to panic, James agrees to help the team with their tactics. Owen, one of Sam's classmates, tells him how much he enjoyed his presentation. Oblivious to his sarcasm, Sam offers to teach him later at the cafe. Stephen assures Jenny that he will keep quiet about their kiss. Stephen’s shaken when his wife, Gabrielle, arrives. Ken and Wendy practice their audition scenes for Roxanna. Tracy walks in as Wendy reads out a line declaring her love and yells at the "slapper" to get back in her box. Gabrielle demands the €200,000 back that Stephen stole from her company or she's going to the police. Carla tries to speak to the crowd, but they are getting more raucous. Griff throws a glass beer bottle which hits Craig on the back of the head. As he is led away, Toyah is in the middle of the melee.
Part Three: Carla tends to Craig's wound. Spider quickly steps in to create a distraction to prevent Toyah being arrested and is led away himself. Leanne hurries her sister away. Tracy rages at Wendy who hurriedly leaves. Ken reads Tracy the riot act. The protesters have dispersed. Carla snaps at Toyah for provoking matters in the first place. Sarah has doubts that she is being over-ambitious with her business plan. She accepts Stephen's idea that she put his name down as a partner to give the proposal gravitas. Sex therapist Trina Kerrison calls into Street Cars for a cab. Peter sees that Tim is trying to hide from her behind his copy of the Gazette. Sam is downhearted when Hope tells him that Owen and his friends have set him up and they're playing football on the Red Rec. Pushed by Peter, Tim confesses that he's been impotent since his heart operation. A sympathetic Peter admits to the same on occasion due to his alcoholism and assures him it's just a blip. Sam worries that he'll never fit in anywhere. Hope offers to teach him to be cooler. Toyah is surprised to learn from Leanne that Spider was arrested to protect her.
Part Four: Stephen ignores texts from Gabrielle. Jenny tries to prevent Leo from talking to Stephen. Toyah thanks Spider for watching her back and takes him back to the flat. Mary and Evelyn separately rehearse their audition pieces in the cafe. Sarah thinks that the investors have turned her down. Toyah tells Spider that she loves him. She leans in for a kiss, but he pulls back, stunning her when he admits that he's married. The football players meet - Amy, Shona, Dev, Tim and James. Daisy suggests that Jenny offers a team prize to generate more enthusiasm. Spider tells a livid Toyah that his marriage hasn't been good for a long time but nevertheless she throws him out.
