Plot[]
Part One: Jenny tells Rita that it was fun while it lasted but she'll get over Leo. Griff plans a sit-in protest at Underworld. Sam and Hope have their first day at Weatherfield High. Sam has a letter for the postbox but keeps hold of it rather than let Hope see him mail it. Ken invites Wendy to see a musical with him in Manchester. He's bemused when she gives him the cold shoulder. Gemma isn't taken in by Jenny's bravado and tells Rita they have to get her and Leo back together. Ken settles Wendy's bill at the cafe after she realises she's left her debit card at home. Gemma sees Leo resigning from the yard and drags him round to the bistro. Mary tries to drum up interest in her amateur dramatics production, Roxanna. Sarah tells Stephen she doesn't have the funds for her new business. He suggests she convinces Carla to invest. Jenny drinks to forget Leo. Stephen's interest is piqued when Sarah mentions that she owns the Rovers. Gemma and Rita assure Leo that Jenny does want to go to Canada and is just scared that it won't work out.
Part Two: Stephen chats Jenny up by pretending to mistake her for Daisy. Toyah warns Carla that she could harm her reputation by doing business with Nadeem Atallah. Carla's dismissive and reveals that the deal's as good as done. Sarah, unaware of this fact, is miffed that she's been left out of the loop again. Sam posts his letter once the coast is clear, not realising that Hope is watching him. A tipsy Jenny invites Stephen through to the back room to share a bottle of whisky. Toyah tells Spider and Griff that Carla doesn't care and to do their worst. She's keen to help but Spider is annoyed that she's alerted Carla and insists she's to play no part in proceedings. Jenny plants a kiss on Stephen, while in the bar Leo arrives with an engagement ring.
Part Three: Gemma catches Jenny and Stephen in a clinch as she leads Leo through to the back. Thinking quickly, she makes out to Leo that Jenny's upstairs and sends him back to the bar. Wendy calls at No.1 and settles her debt with Ken. Ken asks her why she doesn't want to go out with him and she explains that she's worried about what people will think. She's persuaded to have a drink with him as friends. Jenny ushers Stephen out. She's flabbergasted when she staggers into the bar and Leo gets down on one knee. Given a second chance, Jenny agrees to marry Leo and move to Canada with him. Spider assures Toyah that has faith in her and was only protecting her from Griff. He tells her he loves her and they almost kiss again. Abi plans to invite Wendy and Ken over to No.13 for dinner but Tyrone warns her that it's not a good idea. Hope asks Sam who's he's written to. Sam threatens to tell her parents about "Mad Dog" to secure her silence over what she saw. Leo gets his job with Ed back. Jenny and Leo celebrate their engagement at the bistro with Gemma and Rita. Jenny squirms when Stephen and Sarah enter.
Part Four: Ken meets Wendy at the Rovers. Jenny's tempted to tell Leo about the kiss but Gemma advises her to forget it happened. Stephen and Sarah hear the celebrations from their table. Wendy considers auditioning for Mary's play but no one else is interested. Leo moves back into the Rovers. Sean thinks Jenny had a man in the back room as he smelled aftershave. Toyah asks Leanne to stop Carla from having business meetings at the bistro as she's working with someone who's killing the planet. Leanne thinks her sister is hankering for the old days to escape her present troubles. Leo asks Stephen if he can pick his brain about Canada. Toyah tells Griff she's in and will do whatever it takes. Evelyn agrees to audition for the play after Mary badgers her. Jenny is disturbed to learn that Leo has been speaking to Stephen.
