Plot[]

Part One: Yasmeen has a nightmare in which Stu is living back in No.6 and Geoff harangues her for being stupid and gullible for taking a murderer in. Dev tries to warn Aadi that Kelly is a troubled kid and he ought to be careful with her. Evelyn cons Dev out of triple pay and other perks to mind the corner shop for him. Stephen is quietly pleased when Sarah tells him that she's going to get the other shareholders to take him on in a consultancy function. Yasmeen is torn about Stu being released, neither wanting him back on the streets, nor living in her house. Kelly explains to Aadi that as part of the qualifying process they have to take part in a couples quiz. Alya finds forensic discrepancies in Stu's file. Billy, Summer, Aaron and Chesney join Gemma and Paul’s birthday celebration at the bistro. Summer senses Aaron staring at what she eats but he denies doing so. Roy checks up on Yasmeen who tells him she's had nightmares and he guesses that it's about Geoff.

Part Two: Sarah gets the 50% shareholders to put pressure on Carla to take Stephen on. Cornered, she agrees but warns there's no money to experiment with new lines. Roy talks to Yasmeen about Stu's fight to prove his innocence and how she shouldn't allow memories of Geoff to override her own instincts about him. Bernie hopes Dev can give her more shifts but he’s already sorted the rota for the next four weeks. Kelly and Aadi practice for the quiz but he offends her when he answers that the happiest day of her life must be when she inherited all of Rick's money. She doesn't stop him when he offers to leave. In the Rovers, Carla voices her concerns about Stephen to Peter and Ken. Bernie arrives at the bistro having missed the meal. The only presents she can afford are free kebab vouchers. Realising her mum is short of money, Gemma assures her Linda has transferred the cash for Joseph’s school uniform so she doesn't need to bother. As Stu heads out of the prison gates, he’s shocked to find Yasmeen waiting for him.

Part Three: Drinking a coffee in Victoria Gardens, Yasmeen tells Stu that she believes he’s innocent and will work hard to clear his name, but can offer him nothing more than friendship. He has a hostel place arranged. Aadi apologises to Kelly. Summer resolves to make it up to Aaron for ruining their holiday. Roy, Zeedan and Alya welcome Stu back. Alya tells them that Adam has recommended a good solicitor who has worked on cold cases before. Yasmeen asserts that Stu must let Bridget know his intentions. He reluctantly agrees. Dev is cold towards Kelly when he sees her with Aadi. As the continue with their practice questions, they each admit that they’ve never had a sexual relationship. Admitting they like each other, they lean in for a kiss. Bernie asks Daisy if there are any shifts going at the Rovers, but she says they're fully staffed. Stu is taken aback when he calls at Bridget's house and a young girl, his granddaughter Eliza, answers the door. Bridget shuts the door in his face.

Part Four: Bridget goes to speak to Stu when she sees him sat on the garden wall. She's taken aback when he tells her he's going to fight to clear his name and she grows tearful. Lucy turns up and demands a word with Stu on his own. Dev offers Bernie a cleaning job but causes offence when he labels it as "personal services" and slaps him. She's delighted at the offer when the confusion is cleared up. Lucy offers to let Stu see his family so long as he drops his fight to clear his innocence. Carla agrees to let Summer have an advance on her wages. Ken reckons Stephen’s intentions are honourable, so Carla agrees that she’ll hire him to do some consultancy work. At No.8, Stephen urges Sarah to take out a loan and expand the business herself. Shona has concerns as she overhears them. Having enjoyed their first sexual encounter, Aadi presents a thrilled Kelly with his mum’s engagement ring. Stu returns to the street to be met with hostility from Dev and Bernie. Yasmeen comes to his rescue and tells Stu that he’s moving back in with her at No.6.
