Plot[]
Part One: Toyah has had the idea of donating Imran's clothes to a charity through Billy. Leanne warns her that wouldn't go down well with a jury if she moves on too quickly to Spider. Stephen confides his concern for Audrey to Rita and they agree to meet at lunchtime in the bistro to arrange a treat for her. Faye informs Beth and Sally that Craig’s researching the menopause obsessively and is now monitoring the nutrition. Craig reports to Zeedan that Stu is still locked up as he's on licence. Rita includes Roy and Ken in her plan to treat Audrey. Toyah hands Abi the details of the savings account Imran set up for Alfie. Abi is concerned that Toyah is having trouble coping. Yasmeen tells Elaine she's been thinking about women who cannot get away from bullying men and has had an idea of organising a fundraiser. Ryan begins his first day at the bistro, still worried about Nick and Leanne's reaction. Shona shows Toyah an online article saying that Spider's been arrested during a protest.
Part Two: Faye plans to go to the Rovers at lunch with the factory staff but Craig heads her off when he brings in a healthy meal. Toyah calls at the police station to get Spider released. At the bistro meal, Debbie suggests to Rita and her party that they treat Audrey to an afternoon tea at the Chariot Square Hotel. She wants a deposit but an offended Rita objects to not being trusted. Stephen leaves his number with Debbie to arrange the deposit with the hotel manager. Zeedan agrees to join his enthusiastic gran's fundraiser. Stephen rings his bank in Milan to extend his overdraft. Spider is released with a slap on the wrist and turns up at the flat to thank Toyah for speaking up for him. Debbie offers Rita's party free desserts to mollify them. Nick and Leanne enter and demand to know why Ryan is working there. In the cafe, Stephen receives a call from the hotel about the deposit for afternoon tea. In front of Shona and Sarah, his card is declined. Toyah leans in for a kiss. Spider reciprocates.
Part Three: Ryan and Debbie come clean to Nick and Leanne the details of their insurance scam. As they dress, Toyah's beset by guilt and asks Spider to leave. Leanne and Nick discover that Debbie is all but bankrupt. Leanne demands a payment plan by the end of the day for the money owed to them and agrees to Ryan having a month's trial. Nick is puzzled by her change of attitude, but she reminds him that she did something similar with Valandro's. Shona and Sarah are amused as Stephen yells down the phone at his Italian bank. Abi calls to check on Toyah and Toyah blurts out she’s just slept with her ex. Yasmeen and Elaine are impressed when Stephen offers to sponsor a raffle prize for their fundraiser. Abi assures Toyah she’s just grieving and says Spider doesn't really mean anything to her.
Part Four: Toyah finds Spider in the Rovers and asks to speak to him. Ronnie is pleased that Debbie came clean and resumes his relationship with her, saying he's proud of her. She gets emotional at his trust in her. Sally, Beth and Sean gossip about what Spider means to Toyah as they watch them talk. Spider’s happy to remain friends. Elaine's relieved that Yasmeen has no intention of going on another date with Stephen. Debbie and Ronnie go to the hotel to celebrate. Stephen pays the deposit over the phone, using a card in the name of Mrs Gabrielle Reid. Craig treats Faye to Speed Daal but disappoints her when he produces a chart he’s made, listing beneficial foods so that they can check the menu. Zeedan starts to wonder about Stu's claims when Craig avoids discussing Gordon Lennox. Leanne’s uneasy to find Toyah in the Rovers with Spider, worried she’s falling for him. Outside Rosamund Street, Spider answers his mobile and tells the caller he’s been up to his eyes and can’t wait to get back.
