Plot[]

Part One: The intense pressure of conflicting priorities begins to get to Kevin as he prepares for Abi's return, amongst the many other calls on his time. Aaron calls on a nervous Summer as she gets ready for her first day at Underworld. They agree to meet for lunch. Jack feels neglected as Kevin warns him to be on his best behaviour when Chloe Pearson makes her social worker call. Audrey is notably quiet as Debbie pushes her to sign the lease on the salon. Chloe is admiring of the nursery that Jack has created for Alfie. Jack is sullen as Kevin tries to talk up the benefits of their household and the community to her. Beth makes snide remarks as Sally tries her best to put Summer at her ease. Alya is approving of Yasmeen's redefined relationship with Stu. Stephen guesses that the salon is what is troubling his mother. Audrey tells him she doesn't know what she wants in life. Chloe warns Kevin to have a plan B in place if Abi should relapse. Trying to convince himself more than anyone else, Kevin says he's prepared for any eventuality.

Part Two: Stephen collects the Jaguar before Kevin can take it on a test drive. Glen Cameron, an old friend of Stu's from his homeless days, comes into Speed Daal. Money is still tight for him and Yasmeen watches on with approval as Stu puts £20 in the till to pay for his meal. A tired-out Kevin tells Aaron he's thinking of making his position permanent. As Kevin suddenly remembers he's forgotten to send Jack some money for a cinema trip, a furious Stephen comes storming round, saying his car has broken down in Victoria Street. He loudly demands that Kevin takes action now. The stress begins to build on the garage owner. Aaron can't work through his lunch, telling Kevin he has an urgent errand. Debbie admits to Ronnie that she's struggling to raise the money for Ed. He suggests themed nights at the bistro. Kevin meets Stephen with his tool kit as Jack rings him constantly and impatient drivers on Victoria Street beep at him to get the Jaguar out of the way. Nick takes his gran for lunch, worried that she doesn't seem herself. She snaps at Debbie for pushing her to sign the lease. Calls from Abi and Jack interrupt Kevin as an impatient Stephen tries to ring another garage. Kevin is pushed over the edge and he suddenly starts to smash away in uncontrolled anger at the Jaguar.

Part Three: Kevin sits on the kerb in a daze as Stephen rages at him. Summoned by Paul, Tyrone comes round to see to his friend. The police also arrive and take Kevin away. Stu thinks they ought to sell the leftover food at a knockdown price to people in need and give it away free to broke people. Yasmeen thinks it's a wonderful idea. Aaron joins Summer at the Rovers, apologising that his urgent errand has made him some fifty minutes late. When she touches him, he flinches in pain, insisting it's nothing. Leanne disapproves when Debbie advertises a psychic night and a casino night. Aaron claims he was jumped on the way home and at Summer's insistence shows her his livid bruises. He stalks out when she insists he gets medical attention. Audrey admits to Nick she doesn't want to reopen the salon. At the police station, PC Merton tells Kevin there's a chance he'll be charged with criminal damage and have to go to court. He realises the implications on Abi's custody of Alfie. Wendy congratulates Abi how far she's come. Tyrone asks Stephen to cut Kevin some slack, telling him of the troubles he and Abi have faced over the past year. Stephen gives no reply.

Part Four: Stu drums up other businesses to join in with his idea. Released, Kevin returns. Tyrone advises him to be upfront with Abi, but he wants to appeal to Stephen first. Aaron thinks his job is on the line because of his botch-up on the Jaguar. He and Summer meet but he's still unforthcoming about his attack. Billy, Dev, Chesney and Nina join Stu and Yasmeen at a meeting to discuss the food resale idea. Kevin leaves several calls for Stephen. A euphoric Abi is unable to believe that everything is sorted, and they will all be reunited tomorrow. She's full of happiness and unable to notice Kevin's occupied state. A nearly tearful Aaron takes a call from someone, demanding he sees them at 5.00pm. Stephen calls into the police station to give a statement.
