Plot[]
Part One: Jack is upset when Kevin is too absorbed about decorating Alfie’s nursery before the social worker comes round tomorrow to be able to talk about his year-end presentation. Fiz readies herself to collect the last of her things from Phill's house. Yasmeen has a friend at the library who she thinks will be able to trace Stu's daughter Bridget. Summer tells a disappointed Billy that she is definitely not going to university but instead is going to look for a job. Becky, the hospital psychiatry liaison officer, visits Audrey and gently quizzes her about why she took so many sleeping pills. Having returned to the country, Stephen hands his Jaguar into the garage asking them that to look at it as a priority. Tyrone assigns it to Kevin as his diary is empty. Stephen wonders why Audrey won't return his calls. Ryan watches on jealously as Alya flirts with good looking salesman Matt Bannerman. Returning home with decorating supplies, Kevin argues with Tyrone when he finds that he's booked him in to fix the Jaguar. Yasmeen returns from the library having found Bridget’s address. Stu is furious and berates her and Alya for interfering in his life.
Part Two: Leaving the hospital, Audrey is delighted to take a phone call from Stephen telling her that he's back home. Going into the same building for his check-up, Ed sees her getting into a taxi. In a much calmer state of mind, Phill brings Fiz's things round and also hands her the signed annulment form. Jacob tells Summer that there is a PA job going at the factory. Fiz tells Phill that he is welcome to come round anytime he likes to see the girls, but he knows that would never really work. She gives him back the engagement ring as he tells her how much he enjoyed his time with her. Having heard the details from Ruby, obnoxious pupil Nathan Dwight bullies Jack for having two dads who are both mechanics and gets the others to chant “spanner” at him. Finding out why Stu is so down, Kelly encourages him to try and make contact with Bridget. The school summons Kevin in to deal with an incident involving Jack and he has to leave the Jaguar unfinished. Stu nervously knocks on Bridget’s door but when she answers it she panics and orders him to leave. Stu begs her to hear him out, assuring her that he never hurt the girl.
Part Three: Stu tells his daughter that he hasn't stopped thinking about her for the past thirty-four years, but she closes the door on him. Kevin discovers that Jack punched Nathan and he's now excluded from the year-end presentation. Yasmeen is delighted to see Stephen back. He flirts with her, but her attention is distracted when Stu storms into the restaurant. Hope and Ruby have also had their leaving ceremonies. Fiz and Tyrone insist they celebrate with a meal, even though a reluctant Hope wants to play on her tablet. Stu apologises to Yasmeen for snapping and says it was the wrong address. Having tested Summer in an interview, Carla gives her the PA job. Beth is put out as she thought she was being groomed for it. Stephen asks Yasmeen out for a drink. She accepts, telling Alya that Stu isn't interested in her. Having returned from the restaurant, Hope immediately opens her tablet. A saddened Stu sees Yasmeen leaving the restaurant with Stephen.
Part Four: Stephen isn't happy to find out that the work on his Jaguar isn't finished. Aaron promises it will be ready for midday tomorrow and assures Kevin that he can take the task on as he is so busy. Billy is initially dismissive of Summer's success, viewing the job as a stop-gap, until she asks him to be happy for her. As Stephen and Yasmeen walk into the bistro, Billy tells Yasmeen he has a promised book for Stu about a homeless man overcoming adversity. Yasmeen is given food for thought. Hope is reading a string of messages from someone called “Mad Dog”. Using their walkie talkies, Hope and Sam discuss him and Sam reckons he fancies her. A distracted Audrey has a drink with Sarah in the Rovers. Passing by Ed asks if she is okay, mentioning that he saw her at the hospital. Sarah wonders why her gran was there. Yasmeen makes an excuse to dump Stephen and seeks out Stu, telling him she wants to be more than friends, but he will have to be patient with her after her experiences with Geoff. Audrey lies to Sarah that she was visiting a friend at the hospital but her granddaughter is not taken in. Jack rows with Kevin and admits that he is not looking forward to Abi's return as he barely has any time for him as it is. Stu throws Bridget's address away as he and Yasmeen walk home hand-in-hand.
