Plot[]

Part One: Realising that Kelly hasn't been home all night, Gary and Maria wrongly assume she stayed over at Aadi's. Debbie discovers that Ray cancelled his professional indemnity insurance as she tries to free up some money to compensate Ed. Wendy fills Abi in on the history between her and Ken and how much she regrets lying to split the Barlows up ten years ago. She's stunned to learn that Deirdre has passed away. Abi urges her to stop running from Tracy and make her peace with Ken. Sean introduces Dylan to Frank. They're awkward around each other and Dylan goes off for a tour of the undertakers rather than stay and get to know his father's significant other. Gary tackles Aadi and finds out that Kelly stood him up last night. Tyrone returns from his break with Phill and admits to Fiz that they're no further forward as every time he tried to broach the subject of the annulment, Phill became upset. Kelly continues to be held captive by Ross Maloney. Another man, Kieron Edgerton, tells the frightened girl that he knew her dad and threatens to make her disappear like he did.

Part Two: Debbie calls at the hospital with a cheque for Ed and Aggie. Aggie tells her it is not nearly enough and advises Debbie that she better hire a lawyer as they've already instructed Adam. Kelly warns Kieron and Ross that Gary will come after them if they don't release her. Kieron forces her to text Gary saying that she's fine and staying at a mate's house. Abi steers Tracy to the cafe while Wendy calls at No.1. Ken is shocked to answer the door to her and invites her in with some reluctance. Fiz and Tyrone attend their first couples' therapy session. Tyrone is uncomfortable as he talks about how fragile their relationship was when Alina came along. Gary realises that something isn't right when he receives the text asking him to let Laura know that Kelly is okay. Kieron explains to Kelly that he used to be Rick's business partner but lost everything when Rick screwed him over. He offers to release her in exchange for £50,000.

Part Three: Gary worries that reporting Kelly missing to the police will backfire on him but Maria forces him. Kelly tells Kieron that she doesn't have £50k but he doesn't believe her. Wendy apologises to Ken for trying to destroy his marriage, telling him that she doesn't recognise the person she was then. He assures her that he and Deirdre got through it. Ronnie offers to lend Debbie the money to pay Ed off but she's confident that her accountant will come up with something. Fiz admits that her relationship with Tyrone was stale when Alina came along, but is now exciting. Tracy's incensed to see Wendy leaving No.1 and berates Ken for having anything to do with her. Ken tells her he's accepted Wendy's apology and wants to draw a line under it. Frank suggests a holiday to Sean. Sean isn't keen when he realises it's just for the two of them and not Dylan, but Frank mollifies him by suggesting that he and Dylan have their own father/son holiday. Debbie's accountant warns her that the bank won't lend her any more and suggests she declares herself bankrupt before Ray's debts overwhelm her. The police aren't worried about Kelly as Gary doesn't tell them about her mission with Rick's money. Kelly's phone is confiscated but she's able to call Gary by using the voice activation. He misses the call. Kieron hears the voicemail message and realises what she's up to.

Part Four: Gary realises that he missed the call. Aggie refuses to name a figure that she would accept from Debbie, knowing that she'll be satisfied when she hears a good sum. Ed tells Aggie and Ronnie that he's still onboard with the housing development. Ronnie's thrilled, while Aggie thinks they're mad. Ken looks over his old letters from Deirdre and is reminded of how much he still misses her. Wendy feels at peace with Ken now. Fiz wishes that Tyrone would get rid of his tattoo of his and Alina's initials. Gary finds out from Aadi that he hasn't heard from Kelly. Todd hears about Frank's holiday suggestions and is suspicious of his reasons for not taking Dylan along. Debbie is about to accept Ronnie's offer of a loan when he excitedly tells her that he's bought the land for his and Ed's venture. Gary answers his phone when Kelly rings him a second time. On the other end, Kieron threatens Kelly unless he hands over £50,000 by tomorrow.
