Plot[]
Part One: After hearing Tyrone snoring through the night, Hope and Ruby confront him and Fiz and are delighted to hear that their parents are back together. They are sworn to secrecy. Aggie is getting impatient with the scaffolding outside No.1 with seemingly no sign of roofing work being done. She orders Ed to sort matters out. Kelly offers to accompany Maria to a council function that she's reluctant to attend. Gail suggests a family lunch at the bistro to properly welcome Stephen back. Tyrone suggests that he and Fiz attend a couples therapy session to make sure that their reconciliation works out with no issues. Sally suggests to Tim that he listen to an online interview with Sting about the benefits of tantric sex. Phill seeks an uncomfortable Tyrone's advice on how to make sure that Fiz knows how he feels about her. George also offers his help. At the council function, Councillor Lana congratulates Maria on sticking by her green agenda but Jimmy Dixon unnerves her when he warns her to keep her nose out of business she doesn't understand.
Part Two: David makes pointed suggests at the meal about who's paying the bill and he and Sarah begin to make sarcastic jibes at each other. Audrey's had enough and walks out. Steve takes offence when Ed laughs at his excuse that his roofer is just waiting to obtain the materials to begin the work on No.1. Having had enough, Aggie orders Ed to do the job at mate's rates. At the function, a man named Darren supposedly checks up that Maria is okay having witnessed her altercation with Jimmy, but he creeps her out when he says he's seen her deepfake video and says he's looking forward to the sequel. Stephen gets angry when David and Sarah continue to bicker. Tim has another meeting with Aggie who counsels him to persevere with his unspecified "problem". Fiz is embarrassed when Phill turns up outside Underworld with a boombox, declaring his love for her. Returning home, Maria is freaked out when she gets a text notification saying that her phone and movements are being tracked by a third party.
Part Three: As she scrabbles in her bag looking for a tracking device, George scares her when he approaches her from behind and she sprays hairspray in his eyes. Phill holds up cards displaying the words to Fiz's favourite songs, but gets the order muddled up and also plays Silent Night in error on his boombox. Ronnie has a business proposition to buy a vacant plot of land that contains a derelict pub for Ed and Paul to build houses there. Ed can see the potential. Stephen finds his mother taking headache pills, sick of the conflicts in her family. He feels as though his presence is causing all the tension and plans to move back to Milan, even though Audrey begs him tearfully not to. George takes Maria to the cafe where Nina finds the tracking device in her handbag. Maria suspects it was planted there during the council function and destroys it. George walks her home. Tim begins to look up porn on the internet. Gary persuades Maria that they need to involve the police.
Part Four: An upset Audrey explodes at David and Sarah when they try to apologise, telling them that they've driven Stephen away and he was the only one who made her life easier. PC Carson tells Gary and Maria that tracking devices are not illegal unless they can prove that there was intent to harm. Maria tells her about Darren and Jimmy's attentions, and Carson promises to talk to Jimmy. Paul persuades Ed and Ronnie to consider a communal area on the plot instead of separate house gardens. Aggie has doubts about the scheme. David and Sarah bicker about who is to blame before Shona intervenes. Refusing to call Stephen back, David thinks they ought to concentrate on cheering Audrey up by making her feel important. Sally arrives home to find Tim making a romantic meal. He tells her he's feeling more positive that things will be back to normal soon. Tyrone is taken aback when Phill invites him to join him in using up the honeymoon booking on a lads' break. Fiz is aghast when he tells her that he's agreed, but he promises to tell him that he's changed his mind. As Gary, Kelly and Liam chat happily over a takeaway pizza, Maria is a bag of nerves.
