Plot[]
Part One: It's Fiz and Phill's wedding day. Phill discovers that his e-mail account has been used to cancel the registrar at the last minute. Zeedan is keen to show that he can cope without Yasmeen and Alya at Speed Daal. His efforts are undermined as Stu takes a swig from his hip flask. Hope thinks the wedding setbacks are a sign that Fiz and Phill aren't meant to be. Tyrone realises that she's behind the cancellation and she cheerfully confesses. She also admits to sending for Camilla and spilling the wine over the bridesmaid dresses, and is disappointed when Tyrone isn't pleased. Arnie the roofer fails to turn up at No.1. Tyrone makes Hope repeat her confession to Fiz. Hope explains that she was upset about what Phill wrote about John. Tyrone tells his daughter that they must trust Fiz. Phill manages to re-book the registrar. Tyrone is forced to come to the wedding when Hope declares that she'll only attend if he does. Fiz is touched when Tyrone gives her a pair of Vera's vintage earrings and wishes her and Phill the best.
Part Two: Stephen lets the Platts know that Audrey was only testing them and they failed miserably. He suggests they reassure her that they care about her. Zeedan struggles to keep up with demand with Stu getting steadily drunk. Steve shells out again when the scaffolder arrives at No.1 and demands payment upfront. Zeedan is shocked to find Stu playing drinking games with a table full of rowdy lads. David rushes to ensure that Audrey doesn't find out that he saw Adam about gaining power of attorney. Phill makes reparations with Mimi in time for her to attend the wedding. Tyrone, Evelyn, Sally, Sean, Beth and Gemma watch as Maria walks Fiz down the aisle. Ken blows the whistle on David's chat with Adam. Toyah tells Saira she's reconsidered and asks if she can have some of Imran's ashes to keep at home. Saira says she's already buried them next to Rana and tells her that she knows she's already moved on with her ex. Fiz loses her nerve while taking her vows.
Part Three: Fiz recovers and marries Phill. Toyah assures Saira that she loves Imran and would never replace him. Saira makes it clear that she intends to see her go down for murder. The wedding party moves on to the bistro for the reception. Tyrone watches Hope and Ruby at No.9, not wanting to see anyone. Fiz's friends notice that she doesn't seem very happy. Ken asks Audrey if she really wants to leave her money to a load of strangers. Steve worries that he's been ripped off and hides the fact that he paid twice for the scaffolding from Tracy. Fiz and Phill have their first dance, to Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now.
Part Four: Stu apologises to Zeedan for his unprofessional behaviour and tells him about his loss of contact with his daughter. A sympathetic Zeedan decides not to sack him. Audrey assures the Platts that she loves them and will leave them her money but it'll be held in trust by Stephen. Toyah and Leanne read in the Gazette that Spider has been arrested for trespassing during a fracking protest. A tipsy Evelyn and Mimi (badly) sing I Know Him So Well on the karaoke machine. Steve admits to Tracy that they've lost thousands when he's unable to contact the roofer. A sombre Fiz takes Phill into the kitchen for a word. He realises before she tells him that she wants them to finish. Fiz explains that she knows her heart should be bursting, but she feels nothing. She says she thought she loved him, but now knows that she was lying to herself. Phill is a broken man. Stephen announces that he's staying with Audrey at Grasmere Drive for the foreseeable future. Fiz walks out of the reception as Phill blithely tells the guests that she's left him. He makes an exhibition of himself as he pathetically belts out Build Me Up Buttercup on the karaoke. Fiz tells Tyrone that she's left Phill. They pronounce their love for each other and embrace.
