Plot[]
Part One: Fiz waits on Mimi hand and foot. Evelyn believes she's faking her hip injury. Toyah breathes a sigh of relief when the Gazette article on her protest doesn't name her. Ed reminds her that she's two months behind with the rent but tells her there's no rush. Evelyn and Mimi have a rare moment of camaraderie as they share a bottle of Mimi's expensive wine. Spider raids the shop's bins for packaged food that Dev has thrown away in order to help Toyah live more cheaply. Amy informs Steve that her bedroom ceiling is leaking. Steve blames Jacob's cowboy burglar mate for making a botched job of the roof repairs. Spider reveals to Toyah that he and his fellow activists are planning to use the disused Nuttall's Brewery building as a base. Toyah's keen to get involved but Spider's wary of her risking arrest while on bail.
Part Two: Aaron admires a vintage car on the garage forecourt. Attempting to diagnose the fault, Kevin is annoyed when the lad suggests he check the radiator, noting that he's a trained mechanic. Evelyn notices that the wine has been spilled over Hope and Ruby's bridesmaid dresses. Mimi says that Cerberus must have knocked over the bottle but Evelyn accuses her of doing so herself in the hope of ruining the wedding. Ed complains to Steve that the No.3's roof is also leaking and demands he sort it. Steve's dismissive. Audrey is discharged from hospital. Gail's perturbed when she insists on going to the Rovers to celebrate. Fiz takes the dresses to the dry cleaners. Phill makes it clear that he believes Mimi over Evelyn. Toyah sneaks into Debbie's office in the bistro and nicks the brewery keys. Fiz and Phill are stunned when the latter's ex-wife Camilla Perrin turns up in the street.
Part Three: Camilla tells Fiz and Phill that she's in Manchester on business and came to say hello. She asks Phill to give her a call. Fiz is suspicious of her sudden appearance and sounds off to a sympthathetic Tyrone about the various wedding setbacks. Kirk hears noises inside the brewery. Evelyn suspects Mimi orchestrated Camilla's visit but the woman denies it, insisting she supports Phill and Fiz. Ed starts work on his own roof but refuses to help Steve out. Evelyn kicks Mimi's crutch, knocking the pensioner back into a chair just as Phill and Fiz arrive home.
Part Four: Kirk tells Debbie about the noises he heard. Debbie discovers that the brewery keys are missing and marches over with Ronnie in tow. Kevin admits to Aaron that it was the radiator and offers the lad a job as a mechanic. Aaron agrees. Kevin realises that Tyrone is pining for Fiz and urges him to tell her how he feels before it's too late. Gail is relieved when Audrey drinks orange juice at the Rovers instead of her usual gin and tonic. Elaine tells the regulars that she's looking for a house in the area to be closer to Tim and Sally. She plans a holiday at the Italian Lakes with the money she'll make on from selling her current house. Stephen gives her some pointers. Debbie and Ronnie catch Spider letting some people into the brewery. Taking the keys back, they let them go in exchange for not calling the police. Aaron tells Summer that his new job means they can afford all the holiday excursions she wants and needn't go near a beach. Delighted by the reprieve, Summer takes her insulin. Toyah offers to let Spider use the flat as a base instead. However, after taking a call from George about Imran's ashes, she's overcome with guilt and asks him to leave. Steve tells Jacob to fix the roof. Jacob guesses that Steve is scared of heights. The dry cleaner gets the stains out of the dresses. Tyrone stuns Fiz by telling her that he still loves her. She tells him she's marrying Phill in two days.
