Plot[]

Part One: Ed offers to fix some loose tiles he's spotted on No.1's roof. Steve denies there's anything wrong with the roof. Tyrone offers to go back to the house for Fiz's things so that she doesn't have to face Phill again. Paul tells Summer that if Billy seems overprotective, it's because he's scared of failing her. Summer worries about her figure when Amy plans an end-of-term party. Abi asks the Habeebs if she can have Alfie for the whole day on Monday. Toyah agrees, but it's clear that Imran has misgivings. Faye has a restless night with early menopause symptoms. Daniel finds Nicky packing her bags. She tells him the flat is too small for the five of them and she's leaving to stay at a mate's. The Habeebs are surprised when Lou Breslin calls them asking to discuss an issue with Elsie's adoption.

Part Two: At the factory, Fiz tells only Sean why she and Phill have split up. Lou tells the Habeebs that there's been a compatibility issue at Elsie's new foster home and asks them if they're still open to adoption. They excitedly agree. Faye is dismayed that there's no option avaiable to her but HRT treatment. Summer and Amy sit their English A-Level exam. Comparing notes, Summer realises she missed the point of one of the questions and is devastated. Tracy has a fright when tile falls off their roof and nearly hits her. Tyrone finds Phill by a pit of wet cement, still hopeful of a reconciliation. They argue over who hurt Fiz more. Accused of abusing Fiz's heart, Tyrone makes a grab for Phill and both fall headlong into the cement. Summer worries that her banal answer in the exam will cause her to miss out on an A and not get into Oxford. Phill loses a ring in the cement. He admits that he was going to propose to Fiz.

Part Three: Tyrone helps Phill look for the ring when Phill accuses him of being bitter over never marrying Fiz himself. Sally advises Faye to do what feels right for her. Tyrone locates the ring in the cement. Phill announces his intention to propose to Fiz so that he can move on knowing he didn't give up too easily. Imran and Toyah are elated at the second chance they're being given. Steve tells Ed he'll take him up on his offer after all. When it emerges that Ed knows about the fallen tile, Steve is annoyed and accepts and offer from Jacob to have a mate do the job instead. Tyrone and Phill strip off to wash themselves and enjoy spraying each other with the hose. Summer is nearly caught by Paul pouring her insulin down the sink. Steve pays Jacob's mate in cash. Jacob admits that he met the lad at youth offenders and that he isn't a trained roofer. Confident that Fiz will say no, Tyrone brings Phill back to No.9 and encourages Fiz to hear him out.

Part Four: Daisy is pleased to learn that Nicky has left. Tyrone thinks Fiz will be impressed that he's shown himself to be the bigger man. Phill tells Fiz that he didn't know what love was until he met her. Fiz stops him from leaving and he goes down on one knee. Summer lies to Paul that she's taken her insulin before they tuck into a takeaway. Toyah tells Abi that they're adopting Elsie. Abi is annoyed that everything is going so well for them. Sean accidentally rubs it in by assuming that Beth is the one going through the menopause and telling Faye that it's all ahead of her. Summer's blood sugar level shoots up to 22. She has a dizzy spell until she injects herself. Daisy wastes no time in getting back with Daniel. Tyrone and Evelyn are stunned to find that Fiz and Phill are engaged. Phill thanks Tyrone for helping him and being a true mate.
