Plot[]
Part One: Toyah is on edge thinking about the hearing. Peter has a routine follow-up check on his liver transplant. Ken has let Stu stay the night, much to Tracy's shock when she finds him on the toilet. Kelly overhears Roy and Abi talking about it being the anniversary of the attack on Seb and Nina, and her losing Elliot's services for the custody hearing. Dr Thorne asks Aggie to do some menial tasks for him. Kelly wishes Abi good luck and is told that Imran hired Ben after he found the morphine bottle she took from her. Stu makes Ken a cooked breakfast as a thank-you and asks for his help in getting back into Yasmeen's good books. Kelly asks Imran to drop the matter, speaking up for Abi, but he curtly brushes her off. David tries to apologise to Amy but she tells him to stuff it. The school rings David, wanting to discuss Max with him.
Part Two: Peter is told by Thorne that his transplant is a full success. The surgeon is annoyed with Aggie when he claims not to have been given Peter's blood tests when they are under his folder as he requested. Elliot calls on Abi and tells her that an anonymous donor has re-engaged him to represent her. The school expels Max. Dean Turnbull, on bail, approaches Abi asking for money, or he will tell Imran that she tried to obtain drugs off him. She gives him all the cash in her pocket. Beth sympathises with Craig's news over Faye, but she disgusts him when she asks if he's now going to leave her. Stu turns up in Speed Daal with his guitar and sings a song of apology that Ken has helped him write. Yasmeen isn't impressed and tells him to leave. Thorne angrily berates Aggie for making him look foolish in front of Peter and gives her a verbal warning. Ben reports to Imran that he's got photos of Abi giving money to Dean but the lawyer can't see any drugs in the photo. Ben offers to give false testimony, telling him he has nothing else in his favour.
Part Three: Yasmeen threatens to call the police unless Stu leaves, even when Alya speaks up for him. Nurse Tricia Womack tells Aggie that Thorne has a history of treating his staff badly and to just to keep her head down. Seeing that Craig is upset, Faye ferrets the truth out of him about what Beth said. He assures her that he has no intention of leaving her. Elliot tells the judge that Abi is clean whilst also revealing Imran's underhand methods. Abi is commended by the judge for turning her life around. Yasmeen invites Alya to move back into No.6, reminded by Stu how much she has always been there for her. Nevertheless, her granddaughter tells her she's being unfair in comparing Stu's deception, when he meant well, to the months of lies from Geoff. Imran tells the court that Abi is still a user. Asked for proof, he provides the photos from Ben and brings him in as a witness to say Abi was seen buying drugs. Aggie overhears Thorne on the phone, boasting to a friend that he rushed Peter's operation to win a bet and that he's a 'degenerate alcoholic'. She confronts him with what she heard. Ben perjures himself that he witnessed the drugs exchange. Imran makes a speech about Abi's deceit and hopes her family will help her recover. The judge berates him for his actions, saying they are as low as they can get, but nevertheless grants him and Toyah custody of Alfie with weekly visitation rights for Abi.
Part Four: Elliot tells Abi they can appeal but it will take time. He advises her not to spiral downwards and give the Habeebs the satisfaction by doing so. David breaks the news to Max that he's been expelled. Yasmeen apologises to Stu for comparing him to Geoff and offers to let him stay. Toyah and Imran visit Alfie. She fears still losing him in the future. Imran lies that he's sorry that he was proved right about Abi. Kevin expresses doubts about Dean and Abi has to reassure him that she's been truthful. Aggie tells Ed about her dreadful day with Thorne and the bet over Peter's transplant, livid about what he said about their neighbour. Abi tearfully apologises to Alfie for letting him down.
