Plot[]

Part One: David doesn't know how to help Max, or whether he should. Amy has no regrets about reporting Max to the police and hopes that she can now find closure. Max is charged and released on bail. David confiscates his son's phone and locks it in a drawer at the barbers when Max announces his plan to tell everyone what really happened. Aggie is moved to the gastroenterology ward at the hospital. Adam joins the Platts out of obligation to Sarah but, sickened by Max's lack of remorse, he says he hopes they come down heavy on him. Alya is upset that Yasmeen still hasn't forgiven her months later. Max demands his phone back and reminds David that he isn't his real dad so he doesn't have to listen to him. David retaliates by saying that Kylie would be ashamed of him if she were alive.

Part Two: Aggie is anxious about her transfer as she's heard that the boss, Dr Thorne, is a stickler. Simon hears Jacob on the phone seemingly arranging to plant drugs for a client in Victoria Gardens. He follows Jacob to catch him in the act. Alya tells Stu that as part of Eid she plans to cook up some extra food in the restaurant kitchen and share it out amongst the community. She's pleasantly surprised when Yasmeen offers her assistance. Max decides to run away and breaks into the barbers to retrieve his phone. David and Shona notice his absence as they prepare to set off for his plea hearing. Imran urges Leanne not to throw away her relationship with Toyah because she disagrees with her choices. Simon realises he's been set up when he digs up the "drugs" only to find a packet of custard creams. Leaving the barbers through the smashed window pane, Max lacerates his leg on a shard of glass. He collapses in the street as he starts losing blood.

Part Three: Continuing to row, Jacob and Simon suddenly spot Max slumped against the wall. Simon doesn't want to help but Jacob realises it's serious and puts pressure on the wound. Simon calls an ambulance. Aggie meets Dr Thorne and is surprised when he turns out to be a charmer. Toyah's hen night gets underway at the bistro with Sarah, Faye and Sean in attendance. Leanne throws daggers at the group from the bar. David and Shona rush to Max's side as the paramedics arrive. Yasmeen gets caught up in planning the charity food event and is persuaded to delegate some jobs to Stu. Max is rushed to hospital.

Part Four: Simon is riddled with guilt for not immediately helping Max and admits to Jacob that a part of him wanted Max to suffer for what he did to Amy. Leanne tells Toyah that she has her blessing if she wants to marry Imran. The sisters make up and Leanne is re-invited to the wedding. Jacob tells Simon about his life of hell working for Harvey and how he grabbed the opportunity to escape as soon as Harvey was banged up. Simon starts to see him in a new light. Zeedan sees Stu handing out flyers for the charity food event and offers to lend a hand. Adam and Craig join Imran at a quiet stag do at Speed Daal. Elliot Newell rings Abi telling her that the money Imran paid him has run out and he's dropping her case. Amy is bemused to find Jacob and Simon acting like best mates in the Rovers. Toyah thanks Imran for talking Leanne round. David and Shona find out that Max is stable but needs surgery to remove the glass. David is afraid that Max will die thinking he doesn't love him.
