Plot[]
Part One: The denizens of No.11 enjoy a good night's sleep. George reveals that he did some diaphragm exercises before going to bed so he wouldn't snore. David tells Max to go into school as normal and leave Daniel to him. Toyah is appalled to learn that Carla has employed Jacob and wastes no time in telling Leanne. Tim believes his impotence will go away by itself and ignores Sally's pleas to see a doctor. Amy sees a classmate admiring her at school and accuses him of spiking her drink. His dismissive reaction causes Amy to have a meltdown in front of everyone and throw her cup of coffee over him.
Part Two: Amy is certain that the lad spiked her drink, as he'd previously posted on his social media that the dance was a dead loss. He reminds her that he left the dance before her drink got spiked so he can't have done it. Daniel takes charge of the situation as Amy backs down. Nick forces Carla to tell Simon that she's taken Jacob on. Daniel tells David what happened at school and that Amy needs to know who spiked her. David doesn't try to change his mind. George nearly falls asleep while driving the hearse. Simon rails at Carla for her disloyalty. She tells him Jacob deserves a second chance as much as him. Todd finds George napping in the back of the hearse. Tim agrees to see Dr Gaddas when Sally makes it clear that their marriage hangs in the balance. Leanne questions Toyah's decision to forgive Imran and accuses her sister of burying her head in the sand. Max tries to find out how Amy is coping. She tells him she can't sleep and she has no self-confidence. Max admits that he was the one who spiked her.
Part Three: Max is quick to add that Daniel was his intended target; he wanted him to feel helpless to teach him a lesson. He rubs salt in the wound by telling Amy that her uncle learned the truth ages ago but kept quiet out of guilt for pushing him down the stairs. Toyah tells Leanne she isn't welcome at the wedding unless she supports her and Imran. Amy confronts Daniel and confirms everything Max told her. Daniel explains that he thought it would set her back if she knew who spiked her but he can see now that he made the wrong call. Kelly tells Simon that Jacob helped her when she was sleeping rough. He's unmoved and barges into the factory to tell the staff what kind of person they're working with. Tim feels self-conscious when Dev offers him advice on how to please Sally. George confesses to Todd that he stayed awake all night as it was the only way to avoid snoring. He plans to do the same whenever he stays the night at No.11. Steve and Tracy are furious to learn that Amy has continued to suffer because of Daniel. Steve goes to have it out with his brother-in-law.
Part Four: Steve rails at Daniel in the street and tells him to stay away from his family. Amy makes Jacob promise not to hurt Max when he threatens to get back at him. He's disappointed that she chose to suffer in silence. George agrees to stay at No.11 for another night to please Eileen. Sean and Kirk are shocked by what Simon told them and give Jacob the cold shoulder. Jacob tells his colleagues that he's trying to make up for his past mistakes and wins some of them over. Ken is the only family member to show Daniel compassion. Tim cancels his doctor's appointment but doesn't tell Sally. George consumes a load of energy drinks before going to bed. Max thinks he's got away with it as everyone is angrier with Daniel than him. The Platts are shocked when the police call at No.8 and arrest Max on suspicion of administering a noxious substance.
