Plot[]

Part One: Nicky is appealing against her suspension and Daniel plans to go in with her to assist. George and Eileen plan a visit to the cinema and she suggests they stay at his house afterwards, but George again uses the excuse of Ridley, saying he is too protective when there are visitors. Eileen's annoyance at his excuses increases. Adam and Sarah bicker over Max being out of control. Daniel apologises to Daisy, telling her that Max was the culprit, but she is too hurt by the things he said to forgive him. Sally tries to broach the subject of their disastrous love-making, but Tim refuses to discuss it, leaving her annoyed. Sean and Eileen go to George's house to see if they can see any evidence of what is going on. Emma sends beach pictures from Australia. Tracy pushes Jacob to find a proper job. Eileen and Sean have to hide in the garden when George returns. He sees the open gate to the back garden and suspects burglars.

Part Two: Daniel and Nicky return from meeting Mrs Crawshaw with her having been formally dismissed. Shona apologises for Max's actions. The boy himself watches from afar. George checks his property and finds Sean and Eileen. They row when she admits they were checking up on his cat story and tells her to be gone. Daisy reluctantly tries to reach out to Nicky, but her overtures are rejected. Amy asks Carla if she can find a job for Jacob. She's incredulous at the request. Nicky tells Daniel that she's decided to leave the flat clearing the path for him and Daisy to get back together. Aggie advises Sally to make a doctor's appointment for Tim. Daisy asks Jenny and Rita's advice about forgiving Daniel. Jenny tells her to do so quickly before Nicky gets her feet under the table. Todd tells his mother that he will find out what George's secret is for her. Daisy sees Daniel moving all of Nicky's belongings into the flat.

Part Three: Daniel explains that Nicky's been evicted. Daisy rows with him for moving on too quickly. Tim brings Sally flowers and they plan a night out. Jenny rips into Daniel when he calls into the Rovers to speak with Daisy and bars his way into the back. Carla tells Jacob she's giving him a trial position starting tomorrow. Todd finds a forlorn George in the pub. He admits that he has a terrible snoring problem. Todd takes George to No.11 to explain. Nicky moves Maisie into the flat. They are accosted by Gazette journalist Viyona Lahiri who wants to do a piece on her. Nicky isn't impressed. George explains that in the past he has been evicted, threatened with the police and lost numerous girlfriends for the awful racket he creates. Nicky panics about what the press will say about her and how her family will react to the story.

Part Four: Eileen promises to help a reluctant George to find a cure. Maria and Fiz listen in as Nicky visits Daisy to unsuccessfully speak up for Daniel. Nicky is distraught when her auntie in Lytham sees the Gazette story online. Eileen persuades a worried George to stay the night in No.11. Following their bistro meal, Tim tries to avoid going to bed with Sally, admitting he's scared and embarrassed. She asks for just a hug. Daniel isn't happy when David and Max are laughingly dismissive of Nicky's problems. Daniel's had enough of the boy and asserts that it's time he learned a lesson by letting Amy know who drugged her drink. Facing possible arrest, Max is suddenly worried.
