Plot[]
Part One: Amy calls on Summer to study with her again, but admits that she's still worried about her. Ben Chancellor rings for Imran but he claims to Toyah that he's something to do with work. Daniel is about to ask Beth's advice but clams up when Daisy suddenly appears. She's put out to learn that he and Nicky are working on the school trip, even though it's Easter Monday. Jacob and Amy are short of money for the rent and the household bills. He promises to find the funds. Maria is horrified when Beth shows her a photo in the Gazette of the fight at Rick's funeral. Gary meets Ed and Paul at Rick's house to carry out repairs. Calling at the corner shop, Jacob finds Evelyn has over-ordered alcopops and does a deal to take the excess off her hands. Imran meets up in secret with Ben and asks him to obtain proof that Abi is back on drugs. Jacob sells the alcopops outside Victoria Gardens as Simon watches. Meeting Amy, Summer looks pale. She takes offence at Amy's constant questions about her health and tells her to go away. Simon rings the police, saying that Jacob's selling drugs on the street as Summer slumps on a bench in the gardens.
Part Two: Jacob spots the police and manages to scarper with what's left of the alcopops. Daisy decides to surprise Daniel and Nicky with a packed lunch. Imran admits to Toyah what he's up to with Ben. She's concerned that it's a step too far and he agrees to drop the action. As Simon watches on, the police find Summer next to a case of the alcopops and assume she's drunk. They take her to the station. Ed and Paul find a holdall full of £20 notes under the floorboards and hand it to Gary. Simon tells Amy what he saw. Daisy arrives at the school where Daniel and Nicky are enjoying each other's company. Back working at the office, Adam is interrupted by a client who insists on seeing him. With Roy supporting her, Abi meets Elliot in the cafe. Toyah overhears them discussing ways to undermine their case. Amy and Aadi arrive at the station, telling Craig that Summer isn't drunk but suffering a diabetic attack. He finds her unconscious in a cell and yells for an ambulance to be called.
Part Three: Summer is taken to the hospital and Billy is called. Toyah tells Roy and Abi she is disgusted with them and doesn't believe she isn't using again. Summer is discharged being told to take better care of her condition. Daisy's paranoia increases when Mrs Crawshaw is surprised to find that Daisy is Daniel's girlfriend and not Nicky. Toyah tells Imran that she now supports his plan to prove Abi is an unfit mother. Billy feels guilty that he let Summer down. She's unhappy when he says he's going to be keeping a closer eye on her from now onwards. Gary and Maria show Kelly the money which amounts to £17,000. Adam rings Sarah apologising for working on the client's case instead of being with her. Amy can't stand Billy feeling guilty about Summer and tells him there's something he doesn't know.
Part Four: Amy informs him about Summer being sick. They wonder if she has bulimia. Evelyn advises Abi not to cut Imran out of Alfie's life as that won't benefit him. Daniel walks out when Daisy cold-shoulders him. Billy gently confronts Summer who admits she doesn't know how to stop. She tells him she ate the wrong things as she wanted to blend in and not be different. A comment from Jenny spurs Daisy into finding Nicky a boyfriend of her own. As night falls, Kelly goes to the tram station with the holdall of cash. Abi calls on Toyah and Imran in the incubator room, offering to reach an arrangement as she wants no more fights. They are suspicious of her motives and resolve to carry on their case. Summer tells Billy how much she hates her enforced lifestyle. He promises to get her professional help.
