The hospital contacts Gary with the news that Laura only has hours left, but Kelly refuses to go and see her. Faye breaks the news to Tim that she's not pregnant. Jon suggests to Emma that she move to London with him today in order that they can prepare for their move down under. Waiting for the start of the ceremony, Kelly starts to knock back the complimentary wine. Maria's annoyed but can see that she's drinking to hide her pain. Gary goes to the hospital alone where he's told the end in near.

After her day out with Daniel, Daisy is furious when Nicky calls in at the Rovers to tell Daniel she has after all been offered the TA position after the successful candidate pulled out. Steve, Tracy, and Amy go with Emma to Speed Daal. Steve objects to her move on the basis that it's too soon after Curtis. He insists on meeting Jon and orders Emma to summon him.
