Plot[]
Part One: The Gazette names Abi as the woman who abandoned her baby at the hospital. Debbie reads the front page story and demands answers from her sister-in-law. Abi lets her assume that it's Kevin's child and says she made a mistake but she's fighting for Alfie now. Nicky has a trial session at Weatherfield High. As Alfie prepares for a bowel operation, Abi and Imran wonder who gave her name to the paper. Ed asks Ronnie for £10k. He reluctantly explains what it's for when Ronnie asks him if he's gambling again. Ronnie is alarmed to hear that Grace has already had £20k from the Baileys and refuses to lend Ed the money as she'll just demand more. He encourages his brother not to give in. Amy works out a plan to spend time with Jacob without her parents knowing. Alfie is taken into the operating theatre.
Part Two: Adam spends the day drinking at the Rovers as he has nothing else to do. Ronnie changes his mind and offers Ed the £10k but Ed says he's managed to get a bank loan. Emma agrees to tell Steve and Tracy that Amy is at hers later. Nicky tells Daniel that her interview didn't go well. Ed confesses to Aggie that he lied to Ronnie as it didn't seem right to take the money from him. Seeing her husband perusing the racing pages, Aggie worries that Grace's threats will trigger his gambling and declares that enough is enough. Amy's plan falls apart when Steve spots Emma boarding a tram on her own. She's is forced to stay in and spend time with her dad. As Michael puts the finishing touches on Glory's party, Ed and Aggie break the news about Grace extorting £20k from them in exchange for Glory, and tell him that she's only come back for more money. Abi is stunned to find Kevin waiting for her at the hospital. As he takes her in his arms, she bursts into tears, thinking he's come back to her.
Part Three: Kevin explains that Debbie rang him and told him everything. He believes Abi when she says she didn't know she was pregnant. Knowing that Alfie can't be his, Kevin assumes that Tez is his father, which Abi sheepishly confirms. Michael makes excuses for Grace's behaviour and insists on hearing her side of the story before deciding on a course of action. Adam chats up a woman at the Rovers, telling her it's his birthday. When she spots his wedding ring, Adam explains that his wife died last year. A sickened Daisy texts Daniel, telling him to sort his nephew out. Alfie's operation goes well. Kevin declines Abi's offer to meet the child. Amy slips out of No.1 to see Jacob. He tells her he's sick of sneaking about and wants everyone to know about them. Grace meets Michael at the cafe and confirms everything his parents said. He continues to give her the benefit of the doubt, saying she'd only reject Glory if she was depressed. Daniel sees off Adam's companion by telling his nephew that Sarah wants to know what time he'll be back for dinner. Adam gets a drink thrown over him. Kevin realises that Abi needs a proper home in order to fight for custody and invites her to stay on at No.13.
Part Four: Grace insists that she doesn't love Glory as a mother should and would end up resenting her if she stayed. Michael decides to let her go and she leaves Weatherfield, having failed to secure the money she was after. Kevin and Debbie tell Jack that Abi has had a baby. He's thrilled to have a half-brother. Their correction of that fact leads Jack to realise that Abi cheated on his dad. Finding out that Abi is remaining at No.13, he declares that he won't be living there until she's gone. Debbie puts him up at her house. Daniel tells Daisy that Nicky failed to get the job. Daisy masks her relief. Despite Jack's ultimatum, Kevin can't bring himself to turf Abi out and cause her to lose another son. He stands by his offer to his wife even after she gets the wrong idea and puts her hand on his knee. Realising Kevin is only putting her up because he feels sorry for her, Abi insists on leaving No.13. Toyah impulsively offers Abi their spare room when she hears she's homeless. Imran is relieved when Abi declines the offer.

- Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew. Exceptions were occasionally made for instances in which characters were required to be in close contact. These were made in accordance with the rules by employing measures such as more frequent testing and cast members bubbling up together prior to recording.
- Final appearance of Kate Spencer as Grace Vickers.
- Alfie Franklin appears in the first half of this episode but is portrayed by a prosthetic baby due to the character's premature birth.
