Plot[]
Part One: Daniel tells Daisy that Nicky is starting a teacher training course at Weatherfield High and Max is in her class. Abi discovers she'll need to go to court to win custody of Alfie. She tells Chloe Pearson she's enrolled in a rehab programme and will do whatever it takes to prove she's fit to look after her son. Laura tells Gary that her pain is getting worse. He encourages her to cancel the PI and not waste the time she has left on a wild goose chase. Daisy pays Max £20 to make Nicky's first day hell. Abi looks for somewhere to live before the custody hearing in two weeks' time. She refuses help from a sympathetic Toyah. Amy arranges a date night at No.1 with Jacob when Tracy announces that she's going out with Steve. Toyah tells Imran about an ex-client of hers with a drugs problem that's just had a baby. When she mentions that the child was born prematurely at 28 weeks, Imran realises that the date lines up with his one-night stand and asks if it's Abi. Toyah lies that it isn't.
Part Two: Unconvinced, Imran frantically tries to get hold of Abi. Daniel tells Daisy that he's not meeting Nicky anymore as he knows it's an issue for her. She feels guilty when he tells her that Nicky really needs a regular wage as she's a single mother looking after a sick mum. The Baileys are shocked when Grace turns up for Glory's birthday party. Daisy tackles Max during his lunch break and asks him to forget what she said earlier. Jenny overhears their chat and realises that her niece is up to her old tricks. Amy is miffed when Tracy and Steve cancel their date and Tracy insists that they have some mother and daughter time instead. Grace demands more money from Ed and Aggie or she'll take Glory away. Blissfully unaware, Michael is thrilled by her arrival. Imran tracks Abi down at the hospital after she ignores his calls. She says she's there visiting a friend but he reveals that he knows she's had a baby and asks if he's the father.
Part Three: Abi confirms that Imran is Alfie's father but tells him she doesn't want him involved. She insists that she never knew she was pregnant until she went into labour. Imran asks to see his son. Grace tells Ed and Aggie that she needs £10,000 to start her own business. Imran is emotional as he meets Alfie for the first time. He feels they can no longer hide the truth from Toyah. They're interrupted by Toyah's arrival. Daisy expects a grilling from Jenny but her aunt only warns her that she'll lose Daniel if she carries on the way she is. Abi tells Toyah that she asked Imran over for legal advice. Amy has a lousy evening at the bistro, with Tracy getting drunk and flirting with a strange man. Grace threatens to tell Michael that Ed and Aggie manipulated her into selling Glory if they don't cough up the money.
Part Four: Toyah apologises to Imran for lying about the identity of her "ex-client". He's conflicted as she talks about how difficult Abi will find it to keep Alfie. A repentant Daisy encourages Daniel to meet up with Nicky. He's grateful. Adam tells Imran how frustrated he is that Sarah is stopping him from seeing Harry, opining that kids need to know where they stand. Daniel helps Nicky prepare for her interview. Nicky asserts that she wants to keep her history as a sex worker under wraps and doesn't want Daisy to find out. Ed feels they have no choice but to pay Grace as she'd tell Michael everything and cast them as the villains. They wonder where they'll find the money. Imran promises to help Abi fight for custody of Alfie. The couple agree to keep things calm and quiet for now.
