Calling on Abi, Aggie spots the sanitary pads and recognises the red hoodie that she saw on the hospital's CCTV images. Daisy prepares a fancy meal for her and Daniel to have for a romantic evening together. Aggie tells Abi that the authorities will do a DNA test and track her down. She advises her to face up to her responsibilities but Abi refuses to contact Kevin, admitting that he isn't the father of the baby. She begs her to turn a blind eye but Aggie tells her she has a professional duty to report her to social services and, seeing her in pain, tells her she needs to get checked out herself. Abi tells her to leave.
Part Two: Michael tries to track Grace down online and invite her to Glory's first birthday party. James and Aggie try to dissuade him. Aggie reports Abi. Maria suggests a solution to a delighted Kelly that Laura lives with them until she has to go into a hospice. Tyrone calls on Abi, telling her that if they don’t retrieve the stolen car, the business is finished. Spotting a BMW pulling into the garage, Abi forms a plan and calls Dean, saying she can supply him with one. Brian mentions Sam's chess skills to Leanne, giving her pause for thought. Nicky Wheatley approaches Daisy in the street and explains that she’s looking for Daniel. Surprised, Daisy lies to her, making out he's moved down south. Abi meets Dean at his lock-up telling him the BMW is around the corner for his inspection. While he is gone, she calls the police to report the original stolen car which she sees within the lock-up. However, when Dean overhears her call, a struggle breaks out which ends with her on the floor unconscious. Leanne asks Roy to continue teaching Sam and lies that Nick is in agreement. Abi comes to and finds she is locked in with the car and that she is bleeding badly again. Gary moves a grateful Laura into the flat. She unnerves Gary when announces she intends to hire a PI to track down Rick so she can get her hands on his money for Kelly. In a bad state, Abi finds the stolen car key and drives it at the garage doors to escape. She hits a skip parked outside at speed and slumps unconscious against the airbag.
Part Three: Having heard about the stolen car from Tyrone, a concerned Toyah calls Abi's phone. A policeman at the scene answers and explains that she's been involved in an accident. A panicking Gary offers to get a PI for Laura. Toyah arrives at the hospital where a doctor mentions that Abi recently had a baby. Toyah is shocked to realise she was the missing mother and Aggie confirms that Kevin isn't the father. Michael cannot find any trace of Grace. As she is treated, Abi lies again to Toyah that Tez Wyatt is the baby's father. Meeting up with Lenny Isaacs, Gary explains that he wants him to pretend to track down Rick but make no progress whatsoever. Having had an operation, Abi refuses to see the baby, saying she's giving him up. Toyah asks her to reconsider and thus make amends for her past.
Part Four: Gary introduces Lenny to Laura who instantly recognises him as someone who was once watching her and rejects his services. Daisy questions Daniel about his previous girlfriends. A concerned Gary breaks the news to Maria that Laura is hiring her own ex-police detective to track Rick down. Abi changes her mind and agrees to meet the baby but before she can get there is waylaid by Chloe Pearson, a social worker. Daisy deletes a voicemail message on Daniel's phone from Nicky. Toyah returns home, satisfied with her progress with Abi but stays silent with Imran about what she's been up to. Chloe warns Abi that she is under assessment and might not be able to keep the baby. She advises her to involve the father to increase her chances before the matter comes up before the judge. Cornered, Abi rejects the baby and breaks down in tears.
