Coronation Street Wiki

Plot[]

Part One: Eileen finds a hung-over Abi living in a pigsty at No.13. Abi pulls herself together as they remember Seb on what would have been his 21st birthday. Nick is concerned about Sam staying up late reading chess books. The police question Adam about the threatening text messages. He's amazed to learn that some the texts were sent from his flat's IP address. Reminded of her loss, Abi asks Dean Turnbull for more drugs. Gary notices that Kelly has been out increasingly late recently. She tells him she's been running as it helps her to relax. Lydia tells Sarah that Adam smashed up her flat and got arrested. Dean agrees to give Abi cocaine if they have a session at No.13. Faye and Craig feel guilty at forcing Emma to turn Jon down and decide to make it up to her. Abi and Dean start a booze and coke party at No.13 as Kevin and Jack return early from Bridlington.

Part Two: Abi pulls away when Dean tries to kiss her. Dean shows an interest in a sports car on the garage's forecourt when Abi says she works there. Adam is released pending further investigation. He expects to be charged as the evidence against him is overwhelming. Imran is concerned when a potential client, Mr Hare, decides to take his business elsewhere after reading damning online reviews. Kevin calls in at the bistro first and tells Debbie that he's willing to talk things through with Abi. Debbie thinks he's in denial that his marriage is over. Nick doesn't think Sam will rest until he wins a game and enlists Roy's help. Kelly secretly looks after a sickly Laura at her mum's flat. Emma sneaks away for a date with Jon at the Chariot Square Hotel. She's sad to hear that he's moving to Australia in a few weeks. They agree to enjoy the time they have together but when Jon suggests decamping to the Rovers, she puts him off. Roy tries to bolster Sam's confidence by arranging for him to play against Brian. Adam is reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority. He's horrified as he could be struck off. High on cocaine, Abi continues to have chest pains. Dean is giving her a massage when Kevin walks in and asks what's going on.

Part Three: Kevin kicks Dean out. Adam tells Imran he's stepping away from the business while he clears his name. Sam checkmates Brian and wins the match. Kevin is appalled by the state of Abi and the house. He thinks she's cheated on him again with Dean. Abi tells him she's sorry and promises to clean up her act but Kevin says they're definitely finished. He leaves her to pack her things and get out. Jon thinks Emma doesn't want to be seen with him. She tells him about Curtis and that her friends would think she's moving on too quickly if they saw them together. He promises he'll never lie to her. Kelly confesses to Simon that she's been at her mum's every night and is worn out juggling her home life with school, the barbers, and Laura. Dean returns to No.13 and steals Kevin's garage keys while Abi is in the bathroom.

Part Four: Abi hears a car engine revving outside and realises what's happened. Racing over to the garage, she leaps into the passenger seat and makes a grab for the key, but Dean is too quick and drives off with Abi inside. Roy gives Sam a score sheet pad to mark the occasion of his first victory in chess. Sam is elated at having beaten Brian. Simon urges Kelly to share her problems with Gary and Maria but Kelly refuses as they'll make her stop seeing Laura and her mum doesn't have anyone else. Sarah believes that Adam going to Lydia's flat confirms he's guilty of everything Lydia said. She tells him to stay away from her and Harry in future. Nick is pleased to see Sam smiling so much. Dean stops the car in a country road. As Abi crouches by the side of the road in agony, Dean thinks she's overdosing and drives off without her. Faye and Craig surprise Emma with a cocktail night at the flat. Lydia warns Adam that she's just getting started. Abi realises she's in labour and dials 999 but her phone battery dies before she can ask for help, stranding her in the middle of nowhere with no one to turn to.
