Plot[]
Part One: On the day of the adoption hearing, a nervous Abi desperately texts Sally to talk to her. Telling Kevin she's ready for the trip to Bridlington, she's shows how she's prepared a music list on her phone, Bluetooth linked to the stereo of the campervan that he's rented. With No.5 in its usual state of chaos, Chesney asks Joseph to reconsider his request to move to Portugal. Sarah admits to Lydia that she's told Adam about her problems and he's told her to stay out of the matter, though she doesn't want to. Lydia tells her she won't trouble her again. Sally tells Abi that she doesn't want to talk to her. Lydia turns on the waterworks in front of Sean and makes out it's her man trouble. He offers to have a word with Sarah. A worried Daniel continues to keep a watchful eye on Amy. Dev is annoyed to realise this supplier has given him some cheap, nasty wine by mistake. Stu offers to buy it off him. With the hearing due to start, Abi leaves a message for Sally, begging her to keep their secret.
Part Two: The social worker gives Abi a glowing report, but when the judge rules that they'll reconvene on the 14th March for a further report on Abi's past substance abuse she is disappointed. After Sean's intervention, Sarah promises Lydia that she can rely on her with help for her troubles. In the Speed Daal kitchen, Stu carefully steams the labels off the cheap bottles of wine and the expensive bottles of wine meant for Tracy. Max and Nina ask after Amy who assures them that she's fine. Amy rings Jacob. Gemma takes offence when Linda suggests that she prioritises the quads over Joseph and unwittingly lets slip that the boy wants to live with her. Stu drops the case of wine round to No.1, making out to a passing Mary that it was delivered to the wrong house. Imran shows Adam a series of online reviews, slating him as a solicitor. They suspect Jeremy Bremner. Kevin has to fix the van when it breaks down. Sally returns Abi's call, and in the van Kevin overhears their conversation over the Bluetooth-linked phone as they discuss his wife cheating on him. Abi realises they've been overheard. When he demands to know what she's done, she admits she's committed adultery.
