Plot[]
Part One: Adam has to work Valentine's Day as he's being wined and dined by a client, Mr Martin. He arranges to meet up with Sarah at the Chariot Square Hotel later. The Weatherfield High seniors prepare for the Valentine's Dance, with little enthusiasm. Jacob interests Amy in going clubbing afterwards, enticing her friends into coming along by offering to score fake IDs. Max returns to school following his suspension. Back home, he receives a parcel which he tells David contains a new camera battery. Steve tries to find out from Asha who Amy's mystery boyfriend is but Asha protects her friend's secret. Daniel is roped into supervising the dance. He installs Max as cameraman in the hall. Amy and Asha are tipsy when they arrive, much to Summer's disapproval. Lydia shows Beth the set of sexy lingerie she's supposedly received from her ex. Concerned for her, Sarah advises Lydia to confront her boyfriend about the mixed messages he's sending out. Amy laces her soft drink with alcohol at the party. Max observes Daniel as he puts his glass down next to Amy's. Daniel realises that Amy and Asha are drunk and orders the group to leave. Amy downs her drink before she goes.
Part Two: Bernie gives Chesney and Gemma a voucher she won at the school Christmas raffle, giving them a free meal for two at Speed Daal. Sally is put out when Tim spends Valentine's Day having an 80s movie marathon with Elaine. Keen to drag him away from the TV, Sally suggests to Tim they have a naughty game of landlords and tenants. Amy, Asha and Aadi join Jacob outside a club, the former becoming increasingly woozy. Chesney and Gemma enjoy their meal but are caught short when Yasmeen reveals that the voucher isn't valid today as there's a special menu on. She belatedly accepts the voucher after clocking their embarrassment. Beth accuses the couple of robbing people with Joseph's fund. Yasmeen is interested to hear to that all the reward money was returned and Dev gave the anonymous donation to a homeless charity. Adam tells Sarah their date is off as he's giving his client emotional support. Elaine reminds Sally that Tim can't have sex, even on Valentine's Day. Jacob realises that Amy has taken something and tells Asha to call an ambulance. Amy suddenly collapses.
