Plot[]

Part One: Sarah is still annoyed that Adam was negligent on her birthday. She forgives him when he makes her see that he was late for the meal as he was helping Lydia. Maria and Gary are happy with the way that Kelly has settled in with them. Daniel looks for Daisy, keen to know if she is going to report him to the police. By way of an apology, Nina makes a special breakfast for an understanding Asha, telling her she's going to seek mental health advice. Lydia apologises to Sarah for ruining her birthday, claiming she's over Daniel. Amy grows tired of Tracy and Mary talking about her upcoming 18th birthday and her inheritance of £40,000 from Deirdre. Adam looks forward to a meeting with lucrative new client Mr Bosgrove but Imran tells him that in the meantime he should take a look at the state of his car. Tracy questions Amy about the texts she's receiving, asking her if she has a boyfriend. Adam sees that his car windscreen has been smashed. Kelly’s delighted when Stu invites her, Gary and Maria for a complimentary meal at Speed Daal but she's caught up short when Laura suddenly walks into the cafe. Adam suspects Jeremy Bremner and sets off to confront him, despite the pleas of Imran and Sarah.

Part Two: Kelly walks off from Laura, not wanting to talk to her. Adam goes to Jeremy's lockup. While admitting to keying the car, he denies being behind any other harassment. Daniel catches up with Daisy who assures him she wouldn't go to the police. She wonders where the two of them stand now but he's non-committal. Sarah is relieved when Adam returns safely. Mr Bosgrove arrives for his appointment. Amy confides in Asha and Summer that it’s early days but things are going well with her new mystery boyfriend. Asha advises caution, citing her disastrous association with Corey. Dev is annoyed that Asha didn't go to Glasgow, demanding a refund of the train fare. Jenny questions Daisy about her and Daniel and finds out that the two of them kissed. Gary, Maria and Kelly enjoy their free meal but are interrupted by Laura, saying she needs to speak to her daughter as she's dying. Adam and Imran have just reached an agreement with Mr Bosgrove when armed police burst into the office, pointing their guns and telling them to get on the floor.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew. Exceptions were occasionally made for instances in which characters were required to be in close contact. These were made in accordance with the rules by employing measures such as more frequent testing and cast members bubbling up together prior to recording.
No episodes were transmitted on Friday 4th February due to ITV coverage of FA Cup football.
Jeremy Bremner's lockup was recorded on the Non-specific street part of the MediaCity studios backlot.
