Plot[]
Part One: Dev stands up for Bernie who denies she had anything to do with Joseph's disappearance. Evelyn points out how she's splashing money around and Fiz rings the police. Bernie looks daggers at Hope. Jenny is embarrassed as an amused Teddy compliments Leo on his taste in women. In the Rovers, Daniel thanks Daisy for her kind words. When Daisy suggests they go for a drink sometime, Daniel's taken aback. Lydia walks in and sees the spark between them, suggesting they go back to the flat as they've got some time alone. Daniel looks back at Daisy as they leave. Sally shows Tim a photo she's sent the Gazette of Maria with her 4x4 gas guzzler, saying she's a hypocrite. Evelyn refuses to let Bernie get away until the police arrive. She gives in and tells the full truth, but Hope again lies that Bernie gave them the £100. She admits to taking half the reward money from Clint. Dev, Fiz and Evelyn turn on her as she tries to explain how Chesney and Gemma need the money. Maria reveals that it was Councillor Cameron who provided the Gazette with the compromising picture of her. Sally’s taken aback as Elaine rips into them for arguing when Tim is so ill. Craig returns home from work and reveals that Ted's post-mortem suggests he was run over which might have triggered the blood clot that killed him. Faye and Emma are horrified.
Part Two: Joseph remains quiet when Bernie begs him to tell the truth. PC Qureshi turns up and arrests Bernie, and Fiz as well for having a missing child in her loft. Leo can't find a suitable housemate. Carla apologises and tells Jenny it's clear Leo makes her happy and she should go for it. Tim has a disturbed heart rhythm. Sally thinks she owes Maria an apology and promises Tim that she's going to jack in politics and focus on him. Jenny confesses to Leo that although she feels insecure about the age difference, he means the world to her. She reaches a sudden decision. Fiz is released. Hope insists she's telling the truth, but Evelyn isn't so sure. Lydia tells Daniel she thinks that Daisy still fancies him. Jenny helps Leo in with his bags and explains to Daisy that he's moving in. Daisy's happy for her. Emma and Faye stress about Ted. Bernie is released pending further investigations. In front of Gemma, Chesney tells her she's never to step foot inside his house ever again.
