Coronation Street Wiki

Part One: Joseph is embarrassed when Chesney asks his teacher if he can do his homework on one of the older school computers. Tim maintains that Sally mithering him would be more stressful than keeping secrets from her. A bored Craig renews his interest in the crutch, much to Faye's dismay. He decides to scour the charity shops in the precinct to find out who donated it when Emma says she bought it at one of them. Summer awakens to find her open letter has gone viral. Billy tells her he's proud of her. Zeedan is annoyed to learn that Yasmeen is leaving inexperienced Stu to run Speed Daal when she's not on shift. Gazette reporter Mindy Hills turns up at No.5 asking to interview Chesney about Joseph's disappearance. Bernie lets her in, despite Chesney's misgivings. Sally sees on the tracker app that Tim is at the Chariot Square Hotel and goes to confront him, thinking he's with his fancy piece. Abi thinks her friend has gone round the twist.

Part Two: Chesney gives guarded answers on why Joseph ran away from home. Bernie is more open until Mindy confirms that they won't be paid for the interview. The reporter hangs on to get a photo of the pair with Clint and Dev, who Bernie describes as her partner. Tracy tells a militant Amy that her career plans are more important than changing history. Bernie is humiliated when Dev tells Mindy that he isn't her partner. She's left feeling like the booby prize once again. Zeedan finds Stu struggling to deal with the afternoon rush following some agency no-shows and starts helping out, making out that Yasmeen gave her blessing. The article on Joseph is published online. Craig doesn't get any leads from the charity shops but is spurred on to solve the mystery when Tyrone bets him £20 that he can't. Sally spots Tim in the hotel bar, alone but with a bottle of fizz and two glasses. She calls her husband a sneak. After selling sweets at school, Joseph puts his takings in the housekeeping tin but is caught by Bernie.
