Plot[]

Part One: Emma prepares to marry Curtis. Meanwhile, her husband-to-be enquires about flights to Fuerteventura. Debbie tells Kevin that Kelly is living at No.7. Sarah starts to organise the joint Barlow-Platt family Christmas. David isn't keen as Daniel would be there. Amy helps Steve work on his Father of the Bride speech. Nina remembers her dad on the second anniversary of his death. Asha takes her out to lift her spirits. Craig gives Faye her first driving lesson. David refuses an olive branch from Daniel as he and Max set off for another meeting with Orla Crawshaw. Amy is shocked to learn that Steve trusted Curtis to handle the bank transfer. Steve tells her he and Curtis are partnering up to raise more money. Kelly persuades Stu to let her give him a haircut for his return to Speed Daal, despite her lack of experience. Steve calls the charity and discovers that they never received the £100,000. Assuming Curtis has stolen the money, Amy tells Steve the truth about his future son-in-law.

Part Two: Tracy, Audrey and Gemma support Emma as she waits for Curtis at the Chariot Square Hotel. Faye brakes sharply and stalls the car in front of Asha and Nina. Asha's amused whilst Nina is badly shaken. At the school, David tries to use Max's ADHD to excuse his son's behaviour. The meeting proves unproductive as Max still doesn't think he did anything wrong. On the verge of losing their wedding slot, Emma thinks she's been jilted. Steve and Amy search the salon flat and find Curtis's packed suitcase. They think he's doing a runner with the charity money. Maria is impressed with Stu's haircut and offers a thrilled Kelly an apprenticeship. Curtis arrives at the wedding, explaining that his taxi was late. Daniel assures Shona that he doesn't want Max to be expelled. Shona suggests he does something about it then. Returning from a breakdown, Abi sees Kelly in the street before Kevin can prepare her. In Steve's absence, Tracy walks Emma down the aisle to an Iron Maiden song. The bride's father and sister arrive in the nick of time, closely followed by Craig who asks Curtis to come down to the station. As the guests reel in shock, Steve announces to everyone that Curtis isn't dying and isn't a doctor. Emma asks Curtis if he stole the charity money.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew. Exceptions were occasionally made for instances in which characters were required to be in close contact. These were made in accordance with the rules by employing measures such as more frequent testing and cast members bubbling up together prior to recording.
TV Times synopsis: As Emma prepares for her wedding, Amy blows the whistle on Curtis; Kevin dreads Abi learning that Kelly is their new neighbour; and Max awaits a decision on his future.
