Plot[]
Part One: Ryan enters and is startled to see Hashim's lifeless body on the floor. He performs CPR on Hashim while Alya belatedly dials 999. Amy decides to dip into her inheritance from Deirdre to fund her education so that Emma can have her big wedding. Ryan declares Hashim dead and asks why Alya and Zeedan were standing around arguing instead of trying to save him. The Barlows celebrate when the police decide not to charge Daniel. Alya tells Ryan that Hashim is evil like Geoff and deserved to die. Zeedan thinks they have no choice now but to come clean but Alya suggests they use Hashim's death to implicate him in the fire. She stages a break-in at No.6 and plants a set of keys to Speed Daal in Hashim's car. Phill unveils the Christmas log cabin holiday in Scotland to Fiz and offers to cancel, thinking she's going off him. She assures him that she wants to go and they're rock solid. Phill tells Tyrone that he doesn't need to stick up for Fiz anymore as she has him now. Yasmeen is kept in for further questioning as the police investigate Hashim's death.
Part Two: Zeedan tells the detectives that Hashim broke in and threatened him for breaking his daughter's heart before collapsing. He says Hashim hinted that he started the fire to kill Zeedan. Sarah reveals to Adam that she might be pregnant. Adam's excited at the prospect. Emma and the McDonalds see Curtis off as he leaves for his Three Peaks Challenge. The police inform Summer that they're not investigating Daniel. Paul finds out from Summer that Daisy was the woman Daniel was hiding and realises he accused an innocent man. Daniel is upset that Paul thought so little of him but accepts his apology. Sarah takes a pregnancy test and finds out she isn't pregnant. Still in Weatherfield, Curtis meets up with a charity worker to give a talk about his condition at the golf club, clearly having no intention of doing the Three Peaks. David is furious that Daniel got off with it while Max is being expelled. Zeedan doesn't expect repercussions from Hashim's family as they won't want to risk the police finding out about the money laundering scheme. Yasmeen is finally allowed home and is satisfied that Hashim was behind the fire. As everything falls into place, Alya wonders what sort of person she has become.
