Plot[]
Part One: Mimi pampers Phill on his birthday. The Barlows rally around Daniel as the school investigates Max's allegations against him. Summer tells Billy that Daniel showed her nothing but kindness. Billy's unconvinced, suspecting she may be lying to protect Daniel. Paul is reminded of what Kel Hinchley did to him and questions the girl more forcefully, earning him a stiff reprimand from Billy. Michael copes as a single father for the first time. Kelly visits Stu in hospital and hears about him taking the rap for the fire. Fiz frets when Phill's specially-made birthday cake is delivered to Wetherby instead of Weatherfield. Anticipating that Mimi will blame her, she's touched when Tyrone drives to Leeds to pick up the cake. Max and Daniel are interviewed separately by Mrs Crawshaw. Max hands over the poem as evidence. David is proud of his son for exposing the affair. Daniel explains away his actions in the videos and clarifies that the poem wasn't directed at Summer, but was part of her English homework. He insists that he has never behaved inappropriately with Summer.
Part Two: Amy contemplates her future when she's predicted an A and two Bs in her A-levels. Summer tells Mrs Crawshaw that Daniel acted appropriately at all times. Bernie lets slip to Michael that Grace had previously left Glory on her own. She tells him Aggie knew about it. Billy accepts that nothing went on between Summer and Daniel but Paul remembers Daniel hiding someone at the flat and refuses to let the matter drop. As Phill's party gets underway at the bistro, Mimi is furious that her cake isn't there and lays into Fiz, likening her and Debbie to orangutans. Tyrone arrives with the dessert and they discover it's a re-creation of the family dog, Neddy. Summer tells Paul that she and Daniel connected emotionally but he never acted on it as he knew what problems it would cause. Paul believes that she was groomed by Daniel. Fiz manages to get through the party but when Mimi reveals that her special gift to Phill is the fact she's moving to Weatherfield, her heart sinks. Daniel receives a text from Paul saying he's moving out of the flat as the police call at No.1 to question him.
