Plot[]
Part One: Michael arrives home and finds out that Grace has moved away and left Glory with him. Ed and Aggie show him the letter but don't tell their son that money changed hands. Michael is distraught and rushes to stop Grace before she boards the tram. The "Ice Ball" gets underway, with Daniel supervising the teens. Michael catches Grace and begs her to stay in Weatherfield for their daughter's sake. She tells him to forget about her and get on with his life. He watches helplessly as she enters the tram station with her case. Hope refuses to wear the outfit Mimi picked out for her. Fiz says she doesn't have to and is annoyed when Phil fails to stand up to his mother. Max smuggles a bottle of vodka into the school and starts knocking it back. Tyrone finds Fiz contemplating her future with Phill. She's cheered up when he reveals that Phill is secretly planning to take her and the girls away on holiday for Christmas. Debbie sheepishly admits that she took the food van and turns it back over to Zeedan. Max accuses Daniel of sleeping with Summer and threatens to tell everyone.
Part Two: A shell-shocked Daniel repeats the allegation to Summer. She tells Max he's way off and belittles the lad, calling him a pathetic little boy. Danielle interviews Curtis for the support group newsletter. Emma is proud of him and offers to do the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge with her fiancé but he puts her off, adamant that he does it on his own. Zeedan retrieves Hashim's dirty cash from the van and assures Alya that they just need to sit tight and wait for the insurance money. Fiz makes her feelings about Mimi clear to Phill. Michael still wants Glory to know her mum and accuses his parents of pushing Grace away. As the ball draws to a close, a tipsy Max announces to the room - including deputy head Mrs Crawshaw, Billy and David - that Daniel and Summer are sleeping together. The lad punches Daniel when the teacher protests his innocence. Grabbing the microphone, Max declares that that he has proof of something dodgy and messages the video of Daniel's earlier interactions with Summer to all the pupils present.
