Plot[]

Part One: Ryan and Zeedan give suspicious answers. Dissatisfied, Alya leaves for work. Gary buys lunch for Kelly, and Maria offers her a part-time job at Trim Up North. Curtis tries to put Emma off from attending his meeting with the specialist. He refuses to make contact with his family about the wedding as there's too much bad blood. Kelly gives the horse brass to Stu as a thank you. She's concerned by a bad cough he's suffering. A bored Daisy tells Ashley she's involved with someone else. Hashim returns from London and watches the Nazirs' comings and goings from his car. Yasmeen thinks Ryan is messing Alya about again and warns him to be careful. Emma tells Steve she plans to surprise Curtis by secretly inviting his family to the wedding. Without finding out who the girl he was with was, Paul tells Daniel to pursue his relationship with her. Bernie's friend, Clint Stubbins, helps deliver her sofa. Aggie catches sight of it and Bernie has to make up a story as to where she got it from. Aled's operation has gone well. Deeply troubled, Ryan goes to Speed Daal where, despite being sworn to secrecy, he tells Alya about the money laundering.

Part Two: Maria shows Kelly round the barbers and gives her a set of keys. Alya storms home, tearing into Zeedan for his actions. She demands Hashim's number, but he tells her not to get involved as it's too dangerous. Daisy isn't pleased when Jenny tells her that she mentioned to Daniel that she was with Ashley. Jenny realises she still likes Daniel and accuses her of only doing so because of the house he inherited. The man himself walks into the back room at that moment, having heard the conversation and believing Jenny is right. Kelly lets Stu stay the night in the barbers. A smitten Simon is upset when she politely refuses his own offers of help. Daisy has to assure Daniel she isn't after his money. Their row escalates until Daisy draws a line and finishes with him. She is genuinely upset. Alya is alone in Speed Daal when Hashim comes in. She threatens the police, but he calmly points out that Zeedan would also be investigated for stealing £50,000 from him. Zeedan comes in and Hashim calmly tells them there's more money on its way to be laundered. Alya can't see a way out the predicament that her brother has got them into.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew. Exceptions were occasionally made for instances in which characters were required to be in close contact. These were made in accordance with the rules by employing measures such as more frequent testing and cast members bubbling up together prior to recording.
