Plot
Part One: Nina comes round the corner as the jeering, drunken gang of teenagers circle Kelly. When one of them pours a can of beer over Kelly's head, Nina is paralysed with fear, flashing back to Seb's murder. The gang make Kelly beg for money. At Speed Daal, Zeedan rings Eileen and George's bill through twice. Ryan returns early from the spa and points out his error, much to his frustration. Abi can't explain why she yelled at Sam. Kevin reminds her that Harvey was the one who pulled the trigger. Nina can't bear to watch Kelly being tormented and stands up to the teens. They begin picking on her but take off when they hear police sirens. Kelly tells Nina she's sorry for everything. Aggie's incredulous to learn that Michael's agreed to have Glory for the night, again, to give Grace a break. She reluctantly agrees to buy Grace a new sofa to encourage her to stay in more. Daniel sees that Daisy came clean when she didn't have to and makes up with her. He tells her he has no objection to her taking pictures of Bertie as long as people know she isn't his mum. As he scrolls through her social media feed, he realises she's cropped him out of all their photos. Nina and Kelly report what happened to the police. Kelly asks Nina why she's having anything to do with her after what she did. Nina tells her that they aren't that different and asks her to let her help her.
Part Two: Kevin takes Debbie's suggestion and whisks Abi off on honeymoon. She's thrilled by the surprise. Dev has agreed to let Kelly stay over at No.7, with Asha's blessing. Aadi gives Kelly his room. Daniel thinks Daisy is only interested in boosting her social media profile. She calls him judgemental and self-important. Their anger turns to passion and they head for the bedroom. Asha is surprised by Nina's change of heart. Nina feels it's what Roy would have done. As their taxi pulls away, Kevin spots Kelly on the doorstep of No.7 but says nothing to Abi. Bernie reveals to Grace how Chesney and Gemma could do with some new furniture. A conniving Grace reckons that she might have some for sale. Hashim puts pressure on Zeedan to push more cash through the books. Ryan clocks their heated discussion with interest. Nina has a panic attack in the empty cafe.

Notes
- Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew. Exceptions were occasionally made for instances in which characters were required to be in close contact. These were made in accordance with the rules by employing measures such as more frequent testing and cast members bubbling up together prior to recording.
- The scenes at the beginning of the episode where Kelly is menaced by youths were shot in the paved area between the studios and the Imperial War Museum North, on Trafford Wharf Road. Both institutions can be seen prominently in several shots.
- The episode contains flashbacks to Seb Franklin's murder in Episode 10317 (5th May 2021). The episode intercuts between these and the action of the opening scene in rapid succession to portray Nina Lucas's distress as she interrupts the youths tormenting Kelly.
- Close-ups and sound effects are also employed in the final scene of the episode in which Nina, alone in Roy's Rolls, feels overwhelmed by recent events. She also hears Roy Cropper's voice, for which David Neilson is credited.
- TV Times synopsis: Nina encounters Kelly in a dangerous situation; Ryan catches Zeedan in the act; and Daniel accuses Daisy of exploiting his son.
- Viewing Figures: First UK broadcast: 5,696,259 viewers (15th place).
