Plot[]

Part One: Faye descends the stairs and apologises to Craig for overreacting. Craig reveals he's purchased tickets for an escape room before realising it's the last thing she needs. Following his police interview, Roy tells Abi that yet again he's had to lie on her behalf. George sets up the telescope on the balcony for Sam. Nick and Leanne are pleased to see Sam non-verbally engage with George, though Nick is concerned about the memory note he read in which Sam wrote how he wished his last words to his mum had been different. Kevin tells Abi about his appeal to Tez and promises her that whatever happens, they're in it together. Daniel encourages Max not to give up on his film-making. Max is upset that Summer probably won't want to mentor him anymore and expresses his desire to put things right. Billy lets Imran know about Kelly being at the soup kitchen. Nina discovers Roy has shut the cafe early. He tells her that the gun used to kill Natasha was the same one Abi was going to use to kill Corey and that as a result, they must both accept responsibility for Sam growing up without his mother.

Part Two: Roy is incredulous that he ever thought he could reason with Abi. Daniel takes Max to apologise to Summer for making the video. Pleased when Max takes up her idea of making a promotional video about the soup kitchen, she agrees to continue mentoring him. Daniel offers to let Max use the media suite at school. DS Abney calls at No.13 again and tells Abi and Kevin that they've arrested Tez, but so far he can't remember who he sold the gun to. Faye is happy that she and Craig can see each other again. David tells Max that it's important to find something he loves doing. They make up. Roy approaches Imran at the solicitors office and tells him he'd like to sign over ownership of the cafe and flat to Nina, explaining that he won't need them anymore.
